Who doesn’t love a good deal on tacos and tequila? Check out what these Valley restaurants are dishing up for Cinco de Mayo this year.
Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort celebrates Cinco De Mayo with a build-your-own taco buffet hosted at Rico’s American Grill from 5 to 9 p.m. The buffet will offer a variety of delectable choices including carne asada, carnitas, chicken and fish tacos. Toppings will include pickled vegetables, fresh salsa, guacamole, shredded cheeses and more.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen. Specials include a $3 Baja Blonde fish taco and a $5.05 build-your-own margarita or daiquiri (your choice of mango, strawberry, kiwi or peach).
On Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, Taco Guild is offering five food specials (like nachos and a green chile tamale) for Cinco de Mayo. Also, on Sunday, the restaurant is hosting a “find the flag” giveaway. Ten small Mexican flags will be hidden in the silverware rollups. The lucky guests who find the flags will win a $25 gift card to Taco Guild.
Old Town’s Social Tap, and its newly opened Balcony Bar upstairs, offers up $4 Dos Equis, $5 margaritas (cucumber-lime, strawberry-mint, pineapple-chili, blackberry-jalapeno and classic) all day long on Cinco de Mayo. Best of all, Social Tap is serving up $2 street tacos from the restaurant’s beloved mobile taco cart all day as well.
All day at Tempe’s Ghost Ranch, diners can sip the signature Prickly Pear Frose ‘Rita for just $5. The frozen cocktail is made with Blanco Tequila, rosé, prickly pear and lime.
From open to close, Kelly’s at SouthBridge in Old Town Scottsdale will be offering $5 Milagro margaritas and a variety of $3 and $4 tacos for the holiday.
Though normally closed on Sundays, CRUjiente Tacos is opening its doors Sunday, May 5, for Cinco de Mayo. Starting at noon, all Premier CRU margaritas are only $5. The signature margarita features 100-percent blue agave tequila, house agave syrup and is finished with fresh-squeezed lime and muddled orange.
On Sunday, May 5, guests of Tres Tempe Restaurant can enjoy a taste of Mexico with its The Daily Taco and drink special for $12 (featuring pork pastor, grilled pineapple, Cholula aioli, citrus slaw, cotija cheese,and pickled red onion and radish and served with Tres’ specialty La Flaca margarita).
Glendale’s Urban Margarita celebrates Cinco de Mayo with $5 specials on drinks and apps, including house or skinny margs, sangria, taquitos, a variety of dips and more.
The VIG Restaurants will be offering $3 Dos Equis and $2 off taco platters and pozole all day long on Sunday, May 5.
Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants, which celebrates its 100th birthday this year, is offering a variety of specials in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Since Cinco falls on a Sunday (and Serrano’s is closed Sundays), specials like $4 16-oz. Mexican draft beer, $9 margarita sampler board, $7 cinco layer dip and more are good the week leading up to Cinco de Mayo from Monday, April 29, to Saturday, May 4. In honor of May the Fourth, there are also $4 light saber churros available on the 4th. There are five Valley Serrano’s locations.
Blanco Tacos + Tequila has partnered with George Straight-owned tequila brand, Codigo 1530, to throw an all-day fiesta with $5 classic and skinny margaritas, both featuring Codigo 1530 Blanco Tequila. At all Blanco locations, guests can enjoy a DJ from 12 to 8 p.m., Codigo 1530 swag and more.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is celebrating Cinco de Mayo all month long by partnering with Tequila Ocho, an ultra-premium single estate and single vintage tequila, and Baccarat, the world-renowned fine crystal manufacturer, to offer a $100 Prime Margarita from May 1 to May 31. The $100 Prime Margarita is handcrafted with ultimate premium liquors, including Tequila Ocho Extra Anejo La Latilla and Grand Marnier Cuvee du Centenaire and is garnished with a lime wheel garnish and pineapple leaves. Served in Baccarat’s uniquely designed Diamant Tumbler, guests will take home the glass in Baccarat’s iconic red box.

Guests are invited to Old Town Gringos for a Cinco de Mayo bash from 11 a.m. to close. The restaurant will offer $5 Pacifico and Modelo Especial drafts and $6 OTG house margaritas featuring Jose Cuervo Tradicional in addition to onsite giveaways, live music and DJs all day long. Themed food items will be available, including $3 buffet-style a la carte ground beef, green chili chicken and barbacoa tacos and more.
All Valley Macayo’s locations will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with food and drink specials, in addition to live music or DJ’s during dinner hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Food specials include a la carte  Macayo’s chimi with either shredded beef or chicken for $6.99, and drink specials with options at just about every price point.
ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho celebrates Cinco de Mayo with the perfect combination of sweet and spice with the Dulce de Leche “Show Stopper” Shake. The shake comes with a dulce de leche shake base, a cinnamon sugar churro, a Mexican wedding cookie, a choco taco, a tamarind sucker, De La Rosa Marzipan Candy and espresso chili truffle. This shake will be available May 1 to May 31.
On Cinco de Mayo, Sierra Bonita Grill will be offering specials during brunch, as well as extended happy hour. During brunch, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can sip Micheladas, fresh-squeezed margaritas and pomegranate margaritas for only $5 each. Plus, diners can enjoy two brunch specials: handmade horditas and chile rellenos en nogadas. After brunch, Sierra Bonita Grill will be extending its happy hour from 3 p.m. to close.
Casa Terra has created a special menu just for Cinco de Mayo. Start with tableside guacamole; for an entree, choose the enchiladas mole or the taco trio; and pair the meal with an organic mango-lime margarita or a flight of organic mezcal.
Hopdoddy Burger Bar will be offering a margarita special at all locations Friday, May 3, through Sunday, May 5. All margaritas will be half off all day long.
Sandbar Mexican Grill will have a weekend-long fiesta full of live music at all three Valley locations. Plus, the locations will have extensions for revelers to enjoy their favorite margaritas, tacos and more.
Casa Amigos is hosting a celebration with DJ’s, margaritas, ice cold cervezas, tacos and more.
On Cinco de Mayo, Giordano’s will offer half-priced margaritas and Coronas at its two Valley locations.
Tocaya Organica will be offering select combinations for $5.50. Snack on deals like small chips and guac plus a bottle of beer or one taco plus a bottle of beer all day, at all locations. Delish $5.50 margaritas will also be available at select Tocaya Organica locations.
Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup in Arcadia is partnering with Early Bird PHX for a morning of fun featuring shopping, coffee, beer tastings and tacos. Rolling Rack Boutique will be showing off the latest styles for spring, along with delicious coffee from The Early Bird PHX, beer tastings from Wren House Brewing Company, cookies from Mamalinda  and Gadzooks’  breakfast tacos and enchiladas. Gadzooks’ Cinco de Mayo party is from 8 to 11 a.m.
Ghett’ Yo’ Taco is hosting its first-ever Cinco De Chandler event, an all-day fiesta with fun for the whole family on Sunday, May 5,  in Downtown Chandler at 241 S. Oregon Street. The doors will open at 11 a.m. as Ghett’ Yo Taco transforms its parking lot and patio into a huge Mexican fiesta and beer garden. Sip in the sunshine, and dance to the live bands, mariachis and DJ’s throughout the entire day. There will be authentic street tacos, a variety of Mexican cervezas including $3 Coronas all day and plenty of margaritas. Free face painting and piñata making for the kids will be offered until 5 p.m. DJ P Body will host the last night party until midnight. Kids 12 and under are free to the event. Adults can purchase tickets at the gate for $5.
Taqueria Centro at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia takes inspiration from the authentic cuisine of central Mexico, making the restaurant the perfect place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Taste unique offerings like Quesadilla Oaxaca, Mexican street corn and squash blossom tacos while sipping on a cocktail from the make-your-own marg bar.
Barrio Queen celebrates Cinco de Mayo and its eight-year anniversary at its Scottsdale, Gilbert and North Phoenix/Desert Ridge locations. The Scottsdale location will be throwing a block party extending its space from the restaurant over to the Scottsdale Waterfront Bridge. Guests can celebrate from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at all three locations with drink specials and entertainment from open to close. Live music by mariachi bands and DJ Veto fills the air as attendees show off their party spirit by taking selfies with life-sized dancing skeletons and taking a swing at a piñata. The Old Town Scottsdale location block party will have additional games like corn hole, life-sized Connect Four, Jenga, beer pong and more. Fun giveaways round out the day for family fun with the kids and then geared for adults at night.
