Sanctuary Resort to Host Holiday Festivities Bursting With Style

      Escargot pot pie?  Oh my!  Traditional holiday fare is getting a facelift at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, where guests know to expect the unexpected.  This Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve the award-winning Scottsdale resort will heat up the holidays with spectacular food and entertainment. The award-winning Scottsdale resort will celebrate the season with festive dinners, dancing, and oodles of holiday spirit for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, ensuring guests and locals feel right at home for the holidays.

      Christmas Day at the acclaimed Elements restaurant will feature a four-course dinner by executive chef and Food Network star Beau MacMillan. Served Dec. 25 from 5:30-10 p.m. ($90 per person excluding tax, gratuity and beverages), menu highlights include roasted parsnip soup with shallot confit, toasted pecans and maple cream; escargot ‘pot pie’ with hon shimeji mushrooms, spinach, candied fennel, and soy caramel; herb roasted guinea hen with braised cabbage, wild rice, celery root hash and natural jus; chilean sea bass with fennel chorizo broth, roasted cippolini onions, blistered tomato, and lobster; and moroccan spice lamb with roasted eggplant, harissa, and pistachio mint chimichurri. Dessert selections will include chocolate hazelnut roulade with chocolate sponge, nutella cream, orange, and candied hazelnuts; and vanilla semifreddo with citrus consommé, shortbread cookie, and basil.       New Year’s Eve at Sanctuary will be a fête to remember. From dinner to dancing, Sanctuary has designed three unique ways to ring in 2015, each featuring an inspired four-course feast by Chef MacMillan:

o   Dinner in elements: Served during two seatings from 5:30-6:45 p.m. ($125 per person) and from 8-10 p.m. ($160 per person). The second seating includes a complimentary Champagne toast, party favors and admission to the jade bar celebration. Tax, gratuity and beverages are additional.

  • Dinner and Entertainment in Praying Monk: Served at 8 p.m., including live entertainment by the Angela Ferrari Band until midnight, a Champagne toast, party favors, and admission to jade bar ($225 per person exclusive of tax and gratuity).
  • Dinner, DJ and Dancing at jade bar: Dancing shoes are recommended for Sanctuary’s jade bar party, featuring beats from DJ Neil Concepcion ‘DJ Hybrid’ from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Party groups of four to six people can book their choice of table packages: Package I includes dinner, party favors and a Champagne toast ($1,000 for four, $1,500 for six). Package II adds a bottle of Perrier-Jouet Bell Époque Rose to the mix ($1,500 for four, $2,100 for six). And package III also includes a chef’s amuse ($2,000 for four, $3,000 for six). Tax and gratuity are additional. A 50% deposit is required as well as a 72 hour cancellation notice.
