A new dining destination is coming to Hilton Phoenix Resort at The Peak, bringing the flavors of the Sonoran Desert to the table with a focus on live-fire cooking, regional ingredients and relaxed Southwestern hospitality. Emberance, a 7,366-square-foot standalone, is slated to open in late fall, offering a new option for Phoenix diners and resort guests alike.
At the heart of Emberance will be a signature robata grill, where smoke, char and flame will help shape a menu inspired by the landscapes and culinary traditions of the Southwest. The restaurant also plans to highlight Arizona growers and producers, with a craft cocktail and wine program designed to complement the food.

“Emberance represents the next chapter in the reimagining of Hilton Phoenix Resort at The Peak while carrying forward the hotel’s legacy,” said Julia Najafi, Vice President & Principal of Pivotal Group. “We’ve created an intimate, relaxed dining room, where the food and hospitality capture the spirit of the Southwest.”
Leading the kitchen will be Chef Mireya Ryan, who brings 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality and fine dining to the new restaurant. Ryan has held culinary leadership positions in Phoenix and San Diego, overseeing complex, multi-outlet resort operations. Most recently, she served as Executive Sous Chef at T. Cook’s at Royal Palms Resort and Spa, helping guide the acclaimed restaurant’s culinary operations.
“Emberance is an elevated, freestanding dining destination in its own right, and we’re excited to introduce it to Phoenix,” General Manager Dale Moseke said. “With Chef Mireya leading the kitchen, we’re creating a menu and atmosphere that feel distinctly connected to this destination.”

The space will feature a 22-seat center bar built for gathering and socializing, along with an open layout that puts the culinary team’s work on display. Two scenic terraces will offer outdoor seating around fire pits, creating a spot to enjoy cocktails and bites with views of Piestewa Peak and the resort pool. Fire will play a role beyond the kitchen, influencing the restaurant’s atmosphere and overall experience.
“Fire is the soul of Emberance. It shapes the menu, the bar, and the feel of the room,” said Josh Hill, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “Chef Mireya and the team are creating food that is bold and craveable, while still approachable enough for a Tuesday night. We can’t wait for Phoenix to pull up a seat.”
