El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, announced the long-awaited return of horseback riding to the resort through a new partnership with Colorado-based equestrian outfitter Tattered Saddle. Beginning this December and running through April, guests can once again experience the beauty and serenity of riding through the Sonoran Desert with the breathtaking Catalina Mountains as a backdrop.
The collaboration marks the return of horses to El Conquistador’s on-site stables for the first time in several years, answering the requests of countless returning guests and community members.

“We are thrilled to bring horseback riding back to the resort,” General Manager Shelby Francom said. “For a long time, locals and returning guests have asked us if horses would ever return, and now, thanks to our partnership with Tattered Saddle, the answer is yes. The timing is perfect, with Tucson’s cooler season offering an ideal and comfortable riding environment.”
Guests will be able to enjoy scenic trail rides on the resort property and on the adjacent Linda Vista Trail, known for its desert vistas and mountain views. The resort’s equestrian facilities include a horse corral and check-in area, creating a safe, accessible, and immersive environment for riders of all experience levels.

Tattered Saddle, led by husband-and-wife team Kyle and Khloe Wanless, is renowned for its commitment to horse welfare and creating meaningful experiences.
