Cabo’s Las Ventanas al Paraíso Unveils ‘Best of Baja’ Summer Series

This summer, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, invites guests to embark on a curated cultural journey through its newly launched Best of Baja series. Nestled between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, the iconic resort will host an exclusive lineup of renowned chefs, celebrated artists, and pioneering creatives from across Mexico’s vibrant Baja Peninsula. The series offers guests immersive experiences that reflect the spirit and soul of Baja without ever leaving the resort grounds.

Running throughout the summer, Best of Baja is a tribute to the diverse creative pulse of the region, with monthly collaborations highlighting tastemakers from destinations including Todos Santos, La Paz, and Valle de Guadalupe. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a long-awaited holiday, each event has been designed to deliver unforgettable moments infused with regional flavor, artistry, and innovation.

The series began with an elevated culinary experience in June, when acclaimed La Paz restaurant NEMI partnered with the resort’s Sea Grill. Over Fourth of July weekend, the focus shifted from food to fashion with the arrival of artisan hatmaker Nick Fouquet, who hosted a special hat bar experience for guests.

On July 10-11, the resort will welcome Todos Santos’ celebrated oyster bar Oystera for a collaborative dining experience steeped in the rhythms of the sea. Michelin-recognized for its inventive yet simple seafood dishes, Oystera brings a menu of fresh, local ingredients, delivering a coastal culinary experience that is both refined and deeply connected to the region’s marine bounty.

Capping off the summer, Las Ventanas will host a Labor Day weekend celebration on August 28-29 with Fauna, one of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Located in Valle de Guadalupe, Fauna is lauded for its boundary-pushing approach to Baja cuisine.

The two-night event will be led by Chef David Castro Hussong and Pastry Chef Maribel Aldaco Silva, recipient of Latin America’s Best Pastry Chef 2023. Guests can expect creativity and reverence for the land, celebrating Baja’s culinary identity through bold flavors and delicate, artful presentation.

“At Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, we are committed to providing authentic and meaningful experiences that complement our world-class service,” Managing Director Sebastien Dental said. “The Best of Baja series was created to recognize the diversity and excellence within our beautiful community and to provide a special journey for our guests where they can engage with the destination and its local culture.”
