Take a First Look at Sam Fox’s New Luxury Hotel, The Global Ambassador

Sam Fox is bringing an all-new luxury hotel concept to Phoenix.

The restaurateur, who is known for popular eateries such as Wildflower, Culinary Dropout and Zinburger, is branching out into the hotel sector through his new company, Author and Edit Hospitality.

Slated to open in 2023, the 141-room Global Ambassador hotel “will inspire and draw travelers from all over the world to explore Phoenix in a new way,” Fox said in a statement.

Speaking to its name, Global Ambassador will be designed with a modern and cosmopolitan feel by Nelson Partners Architect, and located at “The Grove,” a new development at the intersection of 44th Street and Camelback Road.

The resort will also feature five Mediterranean-inspired restaurants, including a 18,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant that will boast sweeping views of Camelback Mountain.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a fully equipped wellness center that incorporates a spa, outdoor yoga deck and an exclusive member’s club.
