A typical day in my life includes: I’m lucky that I get to work with great people each day at Hensley Beverage Co. Outside of work I can be found coaching my son’s flag football team or spending time with my family.
I was born… in San Antonio, Texas but grew up in Fort Worth.
My favorite thing about Arizona… two things. First is family. My parents relocated from Fort Worth to Phoenix in 2020, so we have my entire family and my wife’s entire family here in Phoenix. The second is hiking. I am an avid hiker and love that I can leave my house and be on a trail within 15 minutes.
I’m listening to… podcasts. I love podcasts and listen to a wide variety including sports, business and investigative journalism. I’ll listen to anything from Bill Simmons.
My family… Is my everything. I’m lucky to have an amazing wife and two incredible children who keep us very busy!
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Bob Iger (CEO Disney). I have always been interested in the business side of media and sports and Bob is one of the great leaders in that space.
One thing I cannot live without… Caffeine. I’m not picky, but I need caffeine in the morning to get the day started.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… an expat and live abroad. I spent my junior year of high school in Switzerland and went back in college as an exchange student while at The University of Texas at Austin. Hook ‘em!
I’m inspired by… the incredible staff at Phoenix Children’s. We are so lucky to have such an amazing children’s hospital here in Phoenix thanks to our incredible fundraising events, like Off The Record
The one person who motivates me is… my children. I want to be the best dad I can, and they motivate me in everything I do!
The perfect day would be… breakfast with the family, a great hike in the mountain preserve, watching the Texas Longhorns win a football game and spending time with friends.
My first job was… folding shirts at Harold’s clothing store in Fort Worth.
My favorite escape… is a quick trip with the family up to Flagstaff.
I’m currently working on… helping the PCH50 team organize another wonderful Off the Record event, where we are able to raise awareness and funds for Phoenix Children’s.
Bio on yourself/company: Nate Dworkin is the Vice President of Hensley Beverage Company. He also happens to be chairman of the Nov. 11 Off The Record event. Off the Record is a signature event put on by PCH50—a group of men dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Phoenix Children’s. This annual fundraiser invites guests to join the PCH 50 at an exclusive, one-night-only party, featuring live music from a national recording artist, food and beverages from Phoenix’s finest establishments and an inviting, social atmosphere at Earnhardt Lexus’s beautiful showroom in Phoenix.
