A typical day in my life includes… doing the dishes after dinner.
I was born… in Yakima, WA (The Palm Springs of Washington!)
My favorite thing about Arizona… is the people. Since moving from Washington State over a decade ago, I’ve met my wife and some incredible friends that I will keep for life.
I’m listening to… the theme songs to Bluey and Paw Patrol.
My family… loves the Seattle Seahawks.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… alone with my wife on a date night.
One thing I cannot live without… black coffee.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… in Arizona Foothills Magazine.
I’m inspired by… happy people that are helping others and doing the work they love.
The one person who motivates me is… the Amazon delivery person. That stuff doesn’t buy itself!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… our country’s political divides.
The perfect day would be… filled with laughter and people I care about.
My first job was… a groundskeeper for the Yakima Bears- a minor league baseball team in the Dodgers farm system.

Bio-on yourself/company: Kory Leadon received a bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2000, joined the wealth management group, Brighton Jones in 2004, and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2005. Kory is responsible for thinking strategically with clients about their life plans and is passionate about fulfilling his role as a fiduciary. It is Kory’s hope that he can help as many people as possible discover what living a richer life means to them!
When away from work, Kory fills his time mostly with travel. He loves spending time with family at their condo in Chelan, WA or visiting his brother in San Diego, CA. He frequently visits friends in Hawaii, Bend, Las Vegas, and New York City. When in Scottsdale, he can be found at CrossFit or on the golf course and when at his home-away-from-home, Seattle, he enjoys sitting behind the Mariners’ dugout for an evening ballgame or cheering on the Seahawks or Sounders at CenturyLink Field. Kory was also recently the co-chairman for PCH50’s Off the Record event. The signature event raises money for Phoenix Children’s to support patients and families. This year, the ticketed event, had country superstar Tyler Hubbard. World-class treatment and care for children in Arizona requires world-class talent and PCH50 is happy to help support this incredible organization and its mission.
