A typical day in my life includes…

a morning walk with my Schooldle puppy Winston, lots of coffee and from there I’m either working at my computer at home, in my skincare suite taking appointments at Phenix Salon Suites Paradise Valley, or working at Lovely Bride Phoenix where I’m also a Senior Bridal Gown Stylist. When I can fit it in, I love to start or end the day with a good sweat at Core Power Yoga – specifically my friend Alexandra Romeke’s classes. She’s amazing! In the evenings, my boyfriend Charlie and I have become regulars at Volanti and Postino.

I was born…

in Kansas City, MO – GO CHIEFS!

My favorite thing about Arizona…

so many things… I love the beautiful landscapes, all our local events (WMO, Spring Training, etc) the weather is unbeatable, and Phoenix is the perfect central location for travel. If I can drive, I prefer that over flying, so I love that Arizona is a quick trip to so many fun destinations. Colorado, Vegas, LA – you name it!

I’m listening to…

Kacey Musgraves has been my fav for the past few years. She just blew up on the music scene, but I’m proud to say I’ve listened to her music from the beginning! I also love my SAT stations. My go-to stations are Beatles radio, Pop 2k, Alt Nation and the 70s, 80s, and 90s stations. I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock, so I also love Fleetwood Mac, Queen and basically anything else from those decades. I am definitely musically inclined towards the Boomer’s generation’s music than today’s artists.

My family…

is my everything. I have a big extended family and I’m the youngest on both sides, so it’s safe to say I’m a bit spoiled 😉 We get the whole gang together at least once a year. Look for the loudest group in the restaurant, cracking jokes and you’ll find us! They’re my biggest cheerleaders and support system. My immediate family includes my dad Robert, whose an Emergency Room Physician in Virginia, my mom Vickie, a retired college professor, my oldest brother Andrew, who works for the federal government in DC, my sister-in-law Emily, also works at the same agency, their two daughters and my beautiful nieces Fiona and Lyra and the middle child in our family, my brother Sandell, who works in the film industry in Los Angeles.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Freddy Mercury or Paul McCartney. Although it would probably turn into a liquid dinner, jamming to their music and harmonizing.

One thing I cannot live without…

skincare! Hyaluronic acid and Growth Factors especially.  My skin is already dry and throw in Arizona’s climate. These two products are liquid gold for the skin and everyone should have them in their routine!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an archeologist and a singer. I had a fascination with Egypt and thought it would be so cool to uncover new sites. I also come from a very musical family and went to a performing arts/college preparatory school from 3rd grade to high school, providing me with a unique educational experience. In 4th grade, it was a tradition at our school to suspend our normal school routine for a few months to write, compose, direct, act, etc. in our own opera. It wasn’t until I grew up that I realized I had a completely unique school experience!

I’m inspired by…

female boss babes! I’ve known from a young age that I would be my own boss someday and I’m thankful for all the women who paved the way for that to be possible. My mom would be my biggest inspiration, but some other amazing lady bosses out there who inspire me are Renee Rouleau and Shani Darden; both started their own skincare businesses and product lines, Alli Webb – the founder of Drybar, Sarah Gibson Tuttle – the founder of Olive & June, and of course Lovely Bride, where I work as a stylist. Lovely Bride was started by Lanie List and all of the designers we carry are women. It’s such a female positive work environment and something I think really resonates with our brides.

The one person who motivates me is…

my mom and dad. For always supporting and encouraging me.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

climate change. There’s really no point in arguing over any other political issue if we don’t have a planet to live on. P.S. The worsening climate is affecting your skin and aging process.

The perfect day would be…

spent at the Fairmont Princess Well & Being Spa. It’s my favorite spa in Scottsdale because you can literally spend the entire day there. They have so many amazing amenities, treatments and when you’re done with that you can head up to the rooftop pool for fresh drinks and a delicious lunch.

My first job was…

Assistant Manager at CURE by Dr. Benya inside the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood California.

My favorite escape…

is traveling with friends, specifically my cruise crew! We try to make it an annual occurrence!

I’m currently working on…

a thousand different projects for Blonde Aesthetics! I want to be more than just a skincare provider. I want to educate the public and help people around the world. There is no “one size fits all” fix when it comes to skincare. Everyone is completely unique and I love the challenge of helping them!

Always…

be kind.

Never…

underestimate yourself.

Favorite Quote…

“Aging is a fact of life, looking your age is not!”

Biggest Dream…

to have a storefront for my business and expand my services to include facial aesthetics, laser, cosmetic injections, and whole-body treatments. One day 🙂

My Pet Peeve(s)…

being late! My high school cheer coach ingrained into us that if you arrive early, you’re on time, and if you’re on time, you’re late.
