A typical day in my life includes…

waking up at 5am, 6 days a week to write up programs, research the latest exercises, nutrition and/or business practices, and coach clients until 8am. At 8am, I workout with my lifting partners and some clients, then I coach more clients. My end time varies, but after work I spend time with my family, write up more programs, watch a little TV, and read.

I was born…

in Dunkirk, NY on October 8th, 1975.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

how close we are to different environments. I like that if we want to be cooler we can go up North; if we want water, CA is not too far; and if we just want heat, we’ve got it!

I’m listening to…

U2, rock and roll, alternative and country music.

My family…

is my everything. My wife, Melissa is the most beautiful and courageous woman I know. My kids are hard working, intelligent, and kind.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

the Pope.

One thing I cannot live without…

my family.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a NFL football player. Then, when I was a teen I wanted to own my own gym.

I’m inspired by…

the idea that we all have the potential to be a better version of ourselves.

The one person who motivates me is…

my wife. She always believes in me and helps me to be the best version of myself.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

less “fake” foods (less refined carbs, less trans fats, etc.). It is very challenging for people to be healthy, so eliminating poor food choices would make it easier for people to stay on point.

The perfect day would be…

wake up, get caught up on emails, and listen to a TED talk or two. I would then train a couple semi private sessions and lift. After lifting, I would train a couple more semi private sessions, practice yoga or work on flexibility, and then spend time with my family.

My first job was…

working in a convenience store.

My favorite escape…

is to go to California with my family.

My life…

is blessed. I have an amazing family. I have a great group of friends and support. I am able to do what I love every day.

I’m currently working on…

building my brand. My goal is to take my brand to a national level and have coaches that coach using my 5 healthy F’s (fitness, family, food, friends, and faith) to help individuals develop as a whole. Currently, I have clients in 8 different states that compete for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, and I am working on a pageant prep E Book. I will also be presenting at NASM’s Optima Conference later this year on “how to train for aesthetics” and “perimenopause women”.

Always…

take time to communicate with the ones you love. This means not only talk, but more importantly, listen.

Never…

take anything for granted.

Favorite Quote…

“You have the power to say, this is not how my story will end.”

Biggest Dream…

I will be on the Today Show speaking about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and loving your body.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people that do not hold the door open for someone, people that do not say “excuse me” when they bump into someone, chewing food with your mouth open.
