A typical day in my life includes….

my day is rarely typical and I like it that way. I want my days to be different, never living that so called “Groundhog Day”.

I was born…

in Omaha, Nebraska.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

is the outdoors. There is always something to do in this amazing state. I love to run and hike the trails around Phoenix. Camping, fly fishing and hiking in and around the Mogollon rim.

I’m listening to…

music all the time. We have music on in our house constantly. I currently am enjoying the new Blackberry Smoke and Rival Sons. Metallica is always a fallback, especially when I am running.

My family…

is the most important thing to me. Everything I do, is related back to my family.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

General Chesty Puller. As a Marine, I have always admired how he lived his life and led his people. One of the most decorated Marines.

One thing I cannot live without…

my running shoes. I always need to get out and run.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a member of Game and Fish.

I’m inspired by…

my staff and the clients we work with. The amazing work of the people around me makes me want to continue to push forward and never become complacent. The proverbial doing more with less. To see our clients overcome so much, can make any struggles I have seem petty.

The one person who motivates me…

is me. I never want to become bored or complacent in my life. I want to be an example of perseverance to the people in my life especially my kiddos. They push me to continue to challenge myself.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

for people to sit back and really listen to each other with the hope of being less divided.

The perfect day would be…

spent with my family up north hiking, picnicking and fly-fishing.

My first job…

was bus boy at a Chinese restaurant.

My life…

has been fulfilling. Filled with challenges and adventure.

I’m currently working on…

expanding my programs to work with some specific populations including our veteran population.

Always…

show how much you care about the people in your lives. Life is finite.

Never…

become complacent, accepting things as they are.

Favorite quote…

“Fight with a happy heart and strong spirit” – General James Mattis.

Biggest Dream…

to continue to live a life of adventure. I want every page in my story to be different and exciting.

My pet peeve…

not being on time.
