A typical day in my life includes…

waking up at 6 am, making the bed (I have to do this to bring all the productive vibes my way for the day), brushing my teeth, starting a cup of coffee and then getting Cannon up at 6:30. I make him a bottle, feed him breakfast and enjoy his company before his nap at 9:00 am. If it’s Monday and Friday, my mom comes over to watch him and then I head to the office! If I’m home, I work on my laptop during Cannon’s naps and spend as much time as I can with him playing or running errands while he’s awake. The best part is that no day really looks the same for me, which I am so appreciative of because it’s very easy to live a real-life Groundhog Day when you’re taking care of tiny human! Now, to somehow fit working out back into my schedule…

I was born…

and raised in Phoenix, Arizona! We’re a rare breed these days.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

its diverse landscape. You’re probably like wtf it’s flat and covered in dirt. But drive just two hours north and you’ll find the stunning red rocks of Sedona or the beautiful pine trees and SNOW in Flagstaff.

I’m listening to…

TSC Him and Her Podcast and Taylor Swift’s new album OBVI.

My family…

is blended and a dang good time. My mom and stepdad are all about checking out the best new spots in town and enjoying a good bottle of wine (or four). My dad and stepmom love taking family trips, especially to Vegas. In total, I have two step-siblings and then my two younger, biological brothers. There’s never a dull moment.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

a double date with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The pure laughs and entertainment would be bananas.

One thing I cannot live without…

CHAPSTICK. And my Yeti tumbler.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a famous singer, lol. And an orca trainer at SeaWorld. But now I want that place to shut down!

I’m inspired by…

collaborating and networking with other like-minded women.

The one person who motivates me is…

my son, Cannon. Sounds cheesy, I know. And @sivanayla. I just freaking love everything about her.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

the health of our oceans and global warming. It’s devastating how drastic the effects are on our environment and wildlife.

The perfect day would be…

on a boat on the Atlantic Ocean in the Carribbean, bathing suit on, rosé in hand, enjoying the sun with my family and a great playlist.

My first job was…

at Rosati’s Pizza in Ahwatukee. I answered the phone and took orders, lol.

My favorite escape…

having my two days a week in my office that I share with Becca Booker. As a mom, it’s such valuable time when I am able to step away from mom duties and focus on myself and my work for even just two days a week. After that it’s obviously a quick trip to San Diego!

My life…

is busier than ever!! I quit my full-time job in July of 2018 and somehow, I’ve managed to fill my schedule to the brim since having Cannon that December. I’m absolutely loving it though, because it’s a busy life that I’ve created doing all the things I love and look forward to each day.

I’m currently working on…

switching my website from Squarespace to WordPress. I want to die.

Always…

say thank you. The simplest words can mean so much. Or maybe it’s just the “mom” coming out of me, haha.

Never…

put anyone down. I just don’t understand this. Support each other. We’re all unique in our own ways and that’s what makes this world so beautiful.

Favorite Quote…

“Don’t be afraid to be cilantro. Not everyone is going to like you, but some people will absolutely love you.” – Courtney Kerr of KERRENTLY. I know it’s not some super profound quote from Gandhi, but I just heard this on the LikeToKnow. It Influencer Radio Podcast and I fell in love with it. It’s cheeky and SO TRUE.

Biggest Dream…

launch a super successful product or fashion line (women’s or baby) and be on The Today Show!

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people who stand up in the middle of an airplane aisle once the fasten seatbelt sign goes off. Extra points docked if they start running to the front and cutting people.
