A typical day in my life includes…

when I am in town it’s gym, office, dinner, Netflix.

I was born…

in Monterey, CA.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

Barrett-Jackson week of course.

I’m listening to…

The Highway Sirius XM Country Station

My family…

is very close. Very fortunate to have amazing parents who have been married for 45 years and two awesome younger sisters.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

both of my late grandfathers. Both passed before I graduated college and I think they would be proud to see how the work ethic they instilled in me has paid off.

One thing I cannot live without…

my cellphone. Hate to say it, but it working in the live event business, it is my lifeline and livelihood.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an Orthopedic Surgeon. I knew I would never be good enough to play in the NBA, so I thought working with athletes and making lots of money sounded like the next best thing. Then I realized I am not very good at science.

I’m inspired by…

Barrett-Jackson’s commitment to philanthropy. I enjoy working for a company that does so much to help raise funds for deserving charities.

The one person who motivates me is…

both of my parents, but in different ways.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

cruelty to animals. People who are cruel to animals disgust me.

The perfect day would be…

sleeping in with my wife and waking up somewhere fun while on vacation.

My first job was…

a grocery store bagger at Albertsons…I didn’t last long.

My favorite escape…

traveling and attending music festivals.

My life…

my wife Fawn and my pups Tyson (Toy Pomeranian) and Jezzebelle (Mini Labradoodle).

I’m currently working on…

closing out our record-setting 2019 Scottsdale Auction. We made history last week by selling over 1,800 vehicles for over $118 million with a 99.74% sell-through rate,  which resulted in the largest public No Reserve collector car auction ever held.  We had 13 amazing charity offerings that raised $9.6 million, and also had a record number of bidders (5,300) and guests.  We had over 325,000 people walk through our gates over the 9-day event – which all adds up to our most successful auction ever.

Always…

be nice to everyone.  It is not that hard.

Never…

miss an episode of Dateline.  Lester Holt is the man in his 3-piece suit.

Favorite Quote…

I hire smart people and get out of their way.” – Lee Iacocca

Biggest Dream…

eventually retire from Barrett-Jackson happy and healthy and spend my retirement traveling the world.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

those who stand in the middle of people movers at the airport, people who put me in group texts with people I don’t know and when FedEx requires you to be home during work hours to receive your package.
