A typical day in my life includes…
waking up and walking downstairs to my gym. I am a gym rat! I love working out! After my workout I make coffee and enjoy that while checking emails. I usually have a meeting or two so I get ready for my day and head out for those. Once or twice a week I am in the lab creating Jaclyn Taylor Cosmetics products, but luckily my boyfriend is the boss, so we get to spend some time together on those days. I love to cook and just got some new pots and pans so I am usually home around 5pm to start cooking! My evenings aren’t too exciting as I am still catching up with emails and calls. I can guarantee you that at the end of the day I am laying in my bed on my laptop ha-ha.

in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Arizona in 2006.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
the food! Even though I live in LA and there are so many great restaurants, my favorite restaurants are based out of AZ. One of my favorites is Blanco Tacos. They have the absolute best tacos! Also, you can’t visit AZ and not go to Postino’s for their bruschetta board.

so much Christmas music right now! I cannot turn it off! I also have been obsessed with early 2000 throwbacks lately. You can never get enough of the Backstreet Boys!

my boyfriend, Shane. We both own businesses in the same industry and are constantly bouncing ideas off of each other. He understands my world better than anyone, and whenever I’m a little down on myself he lifts me right back up. He motivates me every single day to strive for greatness.

waking up at a resort in Bora Bora and laying on the beach all day with a drink in my hand!

working the beauty counter at Kohls. I worked there for almost 4 years!
My favorite escape…
is my makeup room. I love to sit at my vanity and do my makeup for hours. I completely zone out and it’s my therapy.

Jaclyn Taylor was immersed in the world of cosmetics at a very young age. As Jaclyn grew older, she began to experiment with the art of makeup, making everyone her canvas. Very quickly she learned that this was her destiny. She looked to the industry’s most influential pro-makeup artists for inspiration as she garnered degrees and certifications from some of the most highly coveted artistry schools, while simultaneously pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Sociology. Her high-level of skill and experience evolved quickly and she began to understand the chemistry of the products that she was utilizing. She spent two years meticulously crafting the perfect formulas and initial product line, while working full-time as a Celebrity Makeup Artist in Los Angeles, CA. By 2019 Jaclyn Taylor Cosmetics was introduced to the public.
