Title: Speech Pathologist and Co-Leader/Founding member of the November Project Phoenix

Age: 33

Married/Single: single

Kids: hopefully someday 😊

City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes…

sleeping in until the last possible second before hitting the ground running (literally) and/or leading November Project. If I have time, I like to grab coffee or breakfast with someone I love before heading off to work. After work and on weekends, I am either taking some type of class to learn something new (right now it’s Spanish classes, but recently I took guitar and fly-fishing), headed outdoors to camp/hike/run, planning my next travel adventure, spending time with loved ones or relaxing.

I was born…

in Phoenix!

My favorite thing about Arizona…

aside from the people, it would be the endless number of trails. You could hike/run a different trail each day of the year and you still wouldn’t even get close to exploring them all.

I’m listening to…

Chris Stapleton’s new album on repeat.

My family…

is the absolute best. I hit the jackpot in the family department. My parents, younger brother and younger sister (and their SOs) are some of the most wonderful people I know. We are a very social bunch and love to spend time with others and have a good laugh including with my 97-year-old grandfather who recently just moved out to Phoenix to get in on the fun.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

my grandmother. She was my best friend and I would love to sit down again with her over a nice meal and catch up.

One thing I cannot live without…

travel and music.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an ice cream truck driver.

I’m inspired by…

my parents. They always have demonstrated how important it is to find a balance between working hard and playing hard. They are the hardest working people I know yet always make time for their loved ones and are always out exploring the world.

The one person who motivates me is…

one person? I can’t name just one! I have the best support team of friends and family on the planet who are always motivating me to be my best self and go after my dreams.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

loneliness.

The perfect day would be…

waking up just a bit later than usual (I typically am up early) and staying in bed for a hot second before getting outside for some combination of running/hiking and brunching. After that, I’m up for whatever. Those who know me know that I am not one to plan things very far in advance and that would include planning my perfect day.

My first job was…

babysitting.

My favorite escape…

ANYWHERE. I love to travel. I’m up for anywhere at just about any time.

My life…

is full.

I’m currently working on…

living in the moment.

Always…

be true to yourself.

Never…

let anyone tell you that you aren’t worth it.

Favorite Quote…

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.”

Biggest Dream…

the dream for me would be spending most of the year in Arizona and then taking off (hopefully with a little family of my own someday) for two or three months of the year to travel and explore some place new.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

when someone is taking up the entire sidewalk or trail and won’t let others pass!
