A typical day in my life includes…

Monday through Friday I have a crazy, busy schedule at work. Then, I head to my evening workout with the best trainer, Daniel Hartmann, who you may know as @azfitpro. My weekend days are spent focused on decompressing. I love morning workouts so I begin my day with exercise. I will usually do HIIT training or Barre (sometimes I’m a little extra and do both) and then I head to brunch with girlfriends. I love to attend events so I’ll usually take part in whatever is going on in Phoenix/Scottsdale. You can also find me cooking, reading, at happy hour or planning outings with friends. Sunday is my favorite day because I spend the morning at church, lunch with my family and then shopping or meal prepping for the week.

I was born…

in Phoenix, AZ.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

our sunsets make me so happy. Every sunset reminds me of how grateful I am to live here.

I’m listening to…

I love a good “dinner party” or “wine and dine” playlist mood. If I’m just hanging out at home cooking or relaxing with friends, I will put on a mix of John Legend, John Mayer, Daniel Cesar, Miguel, etc. My other mood is “summer rap” – Aer, Shwayze, Allday, Marc E. Bassy.

My family…

I am blessed with an incredible blended family. I have two older brothers and one younger. Between my two older brothers and their wives, I have three nephews and two nieces. I have two amazing sets of parents that have taught me everything.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Jesus or John Mayer. If you don’t follow John Mayer on Instagram, do it now.

One thing I cannot live without…

music, friends and family, sneakers, flowers, chocolate chip cookies, wine and seafood.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

according to my family, I was going to be a lawyer or an actress. I kind of still want to try both.

I’m inspired by…

my mom. She has worked extremely hard to get to where she is in life. She did it all on her own and has taught me how to do the same. She broke barriers in her career and she is strong as hell. Most importantly, she does it all with grace.

The one person who motivates me is…

my dad. He knows me better than I know myself and he helps me believe in myself. After every conversation I have with him, I leave feeling motivated and excited about life.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

helping those who don’t believe in themselves. I feel it is so important to build others up and help them succeed. Everyone has strengths and gifts and I love helping people find theirs.

The perfect day would be…

waking up at 6am (if you know me, you know I’m a morning girl). Then, I would go to my 8am workout with my trainer. Next, I’d do some shopping and then finish my day on a patio sipping wine with a chef’s board while listening to music. Ideally, at Zinc Bistro. Complete any day with wine, seafood and chocolate chip cookies and I would consider it perfect.

My first job was…

I worked as a gymnastics teacher during the summers for my mom’s business.

My favorite escape…

international: St. John, local: Flagstaff/Sedona.

My life…

is a blessing. I am grateful for how I have grown personally and professionally and I’m thankful for those who have inspired me.

I’m currently working on…

growth. I am focused on nourishing and growing; nourishing my mind, body, and spirit. I have learned the importance of accepting things I cannot change and working hard on the things I can change. Nutrition and fitness are a huge part of my life and I am working on sharing this passion with others. Most importantly, I am consistently working on growing my relationship with God and being a light to those around me.

Always…

tell people how you feel. You never know how much that person needs to hear your words of encouragement, kindness, or inspiration.

Never…

stop challenging yourself. Continue to grow, learn, and use failures as lessons.

Favorite Quote…

“I am the daughter of a King who is not moved by the world. For my God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear, because I am His.” This has been the wallpaper on my phone for years and it has started more conversations than I could imagine.

Biggest Dream…

to attend every major fashion show. Become a wife and a mom. Travel to Colombia to meet the precious little girl I sponsor. Run a Spartan race. Own a winery and adopt a bunch of dogs. I’m quite the dreamer over here.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people who are rude to servers (waiters, cashiers, etc.). I could go on about this but at the end of the day we should all be serving each other and if someone is serving you, be grateful and kind to them.
