A typical day in my life includes…

a quick prayer before I get out of bed, listen to Joyce Meyers as I get ready for work and prepare for my day. My workday is typically 10-12 hours of administration, meetings, phone calls/texts and lots of creative thinking and designing.

I was born…

in Chicago, first-generation American and first in my family to graduate college.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the warmth, sunshine and plethora of outdoor adventure.

I’m listening to…

the clicking of my keyboard.

My family…

is of royal blood line. I’m a duchess.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Elvis Presley, he’s been my celebrity crush since childhood and always had my heart. I would like to see his expression and hear him laugh when I tell him I was a backup dancer and choreographer for an Elvis impersonator back in Chicago. I can totally see his lip curl as he smiles and then breaks down laughing… not because of my dancing but because of the existence of Elvis impersonators. Well, maybe my dancing a little, lol.

One thing I cannot live without…

my passport and global entry card. I love to travel, it’s my passion. I’ve been to over 40 countries and been on every continent except Antarctica (but I will get there). I’m always looking into my next destination and planning the next adventure.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an actress and model. I got to live my dream for a while, it was a blast and an amazing experience. I’m glad I made a small difference and impacted many people with my values and integrity. Such amazing memories and stories.

I’m inspired by…

single parents and individuals who had it really rough, yet they don’t complain but work hard to create a better future for their children. If they can do it with such little resources, I definitely can and push my fears away.

The one person who motivates me is…

myself. I look at my vision board and remind myself of all my goals, what is important and meaningful in life. I get excited when I realize another item is accomplished on my vision board. When I feel sad or discouraged about something I remember God’s promise to us/me and get back up and push forward with a renewed mindset. I find strength and use that to help others (like foster kids, single moms and my community) which is rewarding and motivates me to do more.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

a handful of issues, but I’ll mention my top two. First, get awareness going on the huge need to be a foster parent and how many children are in facilities because there’s no one to take care of them during a traumatic time in their lives. Help the homeless, empower them and train them to get back on their feet.

The perfect day would be…

sunny and warm, drinking iced tea while enjoining quality time over HH or dinner with my besties outdoors.

My first job was…

working in the cafeteria balloon store my Freshman year of high school. I guess balloons were one of my callings.

My favorite escape…

though I’m a globe trotter, my perfect escape would be a beach with soft, fine sand and the turquoise Caribbean ocean. I love the sound of the ocean waves, and view of birds flying in the horizon as I sip on my Malibu rum with pineapple and umbrella drink, soaking in the beauty and peace. #noworriesbehappy

My life…

there are good days, great days and challenging days, but overall I am blessed to have so many amazing people around me and to do the things I love.

Always…

smile and be kind. You never know who’s day or life you may change or impact.

Never…

forget that everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for you!

Favorite Quote…

“Transforming plain settings into magical and memorable events with balloons.” – Me

Biggest Dream…

to fulfill my destiny and leave a legacy.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

lack of integrity and tardiness!
