A typical day in my life includes…

having coffee by the fireplace with my husband first thing in the morning. I love riding my Peloton bike after I take my dog, Jack, for a long walk. I seem to come up with the best business ideas during that ride, it clears my head. The rest of my day involves managing the fat freezing at Bodify. We have the best CoolSculpting team, we laugh a lot and love pampering our awesome clients. The day ends with the obligatory glass of wine and my husband grilling. I go to bed SO early, 8:30pm. I need a lot of sleep, it’s embarrassing!

I was born…

in Manhattan…(cough) Kansas. But we moved to Denver and Steamboat Springs, CO when I was 6-months-old and spent the rest of childhood in the snowy mountains.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

I love the beauty of the desert, the amazing weather (most of the year), and the food scene that is getting really great!

I’m listening to…

business Podcasts mainly. I love NPR’s “How I Built This,” “Second Life” with Hillary Kerr, “Raising the Bar” with the Drybar founders, “Skimm’d From The Couch” with the founders of the Skimm, and “The Dave Ramsey Show.” I also listen to audiobooks. If I read in the evening I last about one page before I fall asleep, so I listen to audiobooks when I am working out and walking my dog as well as when I drive to work.

My family…

is awesome! We are all so supportive of each other, all of us own our own businesses so there is a lot of business talk. My sister and I own Bodify together and our husbands really have to rein us in to get us to shut up about it.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

my best girlfriends. I feel like I don’t get to see them as often anymore, everyone is so busy with families and work.

One thing I cannot live without…

WINE! It is just the perfect end to a busy, stressful day.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a surgeon. I almost started Med School but decided I wanted to be an entrepreneur instead.

I’m inspired by…

Netflix’s Chef’s Table series, it is so beautiful and makes me want to create.

The one person who motivates me is…

my sister Jessica. She is relentless. She always works on bettering herself and working to be the best version of herself.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

getting rid of Type 1 diabetes. My sister has it and I hate that she has to deal with it day in and day out.

The perfect day would be…

waking up slowly, a beautiful hike in the desert with my husband and dog. I LOVE good food so it would be going to breakfast, lunch and dinner at some amazing restaurants.

My first job was…

in college I was a telemarketer selling pantyhose. So awful. I would speak with an English accent to make it less boring and more fun!

My favorite escape…

planning travel. I cannot get enough of it in my life. I need 3 big trips a year to keep me happy.

My life…

is beyond amazing, I am grateful each and every day.

I’m currently working on…

opening up our second location in the Scottsdale/Kierland area, we are so excited. My sister and I also have a CoolSculpting training academy and it is has been taking off like crazy.

Always…

be kind.

Never…

be ungrateful.

Favorite Quote…

Henry Ford’s “If you think you can or think you can’t you’re right.”

Biggest Dream…

trek to Mount Everest Base camp. I don’t want to climb it, but there is a 17 day trek that I think would be life changing.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

leaving shopping carts.
