A typical day in my life includes…

every day is completely different. Most days, when I am in town, I take my girls to school, and from there I am typically training or speaking to a team, group or organization. My days often involve meetings and travel, however, my favorite days are when I am in front of the room inspiring people to think outside of the box in their business and personal lives! From there, it’s all about time and connection with my daughters.

I was born…

in upstate New York, but moved to Scottsdale when I was 5 years old, so Arizona is my home and where practically all of my memories were created.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the fabulous winters, gorgeous sunsets, ease of living and the natural beauty all around us!

I’m listening to…

I am always listening to thought leaders in the personal and professional development space, my own crazy thoughts and ideas that come at me non-stop in my busy brain, and my girls’ questions, ideas, and laughter.

My family…

is everything to me! My girls are the center of my universe, and I always have their needs in mind when making decisions in my business and life in general.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Princess Diana or my grandfather who passed when I was 25. He was a role model and mentor to me throughout my early years.

One thing I cannot live without…

lip gloss and chocolate. Not necessarily in that order.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a backup singer for Neil Diamond and an archaeologist. Yah, I don’t get it either.

I’m inspired by…

acts of kindness. Ellen is my spirit animal.

The one person who motivates me is…

my children. Sorry, that’s two people. My biggest life goal, since my divorce, is to be their role model…to show them that they can be, do and have anything they want in their lives. They, in turn, are the driving force behind why I do the work that I do.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

to see human kindness as the leading and driving force behind all human interaction. I want it to be our default. In my opinion, it would solve so many of the world’s problems.

The perfect day would be…

waking up and going to the gym for a great workout, coffee with a dear friend, some shopping, lunch with family and friends, time in the sun and water with my daughters or an afternoon at the spa, a nice dinner out with my love followed by a fantastic musical! Bam!

My first job was…

I worked at a retail stationery store in Scottsdale called Carol’s Pad. I did personalization of gifts, stocking, inventory and basic retail duties. That was my first job and where I first had the conscious thought, “I want to own my own business one day…”

My favorite escape…

for a long escape, Europe. For a quick escape, Orange County.

My life…

is an amazing gift. I am so grateful for the life I get to create and build, and for the incredible people I get to meet along the way!

I’m currently working on…

more new classes, new live events, and a book.

Always…

be kind, and treat others and our planet, with respect.

Never…

quit.

Favorite Quote…

“Leap and the net will appear.”

Biggest Dream…

to positively impact the world and allow people to see that they can create the life they dream of living!

My Pet Peeve(s)…

sticky price tags that refuse to come off and require massive amounts of scraping and manicure-wrecking!
