Title: Aesthetic Nurse Injector at the MD Beauty Spa

Married/Single: Married

Kids: 1 (crazy 2-year-old Harvey)

City you live in: Scottsdale

A typical day in my life includes…

waking up, chasing my crazy baby around the house, heading to Marc Malek Plastic Surgery (where I work), injecting and treating the most AMAZING clients and hanging with the best coworkers in all of town, then coming home to my baby and husband! We love to hang out at the Quarter or go on bike rides or play outside.

I was born…

in Portland, Oregon, grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and moved to Scottsdale about two years ago.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

THE WEATHER DUH! You seriously cannot beat it! And the people I have met. Everyone here is so kind.

I’m listening to…

anything I can jam in the car to or have a dance party with my son to. I grew up dancing and love to listen to anything with a good beat.

My family…

is everything and more to me. I am so lucky to live close by family and those that don’t live here love to come visit.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Anna Wintour. I mean she is so fab so why not?

One thing I cannot live without…

my phone, sadly! I hate that I rely on that thing for almost everything! A close second is Diet Dr. Pepper, because it is what keeps me going everyday. I should be their spokesperson haha.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a nurse! Always. Even when I was younger my parents always said I would be a great nurse. I have a pretty calm demeanor and nothing gets me too stressed. I used to work in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and I loved taking care of babies but even more so I loved working with the mothers. Helping teach them, explain things to them, and also be there for them during their time of crisis. The transition into the aesthetic field was the best because I still get to work and treat amazing women.

I’m inspired by…

my mom. She raised 4 kids and still keeps up with the best of them, I swear sometimes she as more energy than me! She is the best and I hope I can be half the mom she is.

The one person who motivates me is…

my husband. He is the hardest worker I know. And SO innovative. He is always coming up with brilliant solutions to problems and is so positive. And he is also there to cheer my on through all my endeavors.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

the negativity. I wish we could all look at the positive side of things just a little more.

The perfect day would be…

waking up, eating an acai bowl, going to Camelback spa for a massage, getting a hydrafacial from our amazing aesthetician, playing with my son or go swimming and then SHOPPING OF COURSE.

My first job was…

I worked as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology.

My favorite escape…

the beach. Or the spa.

My life…

is so hectic and so crazy sometimes but I am SO BLESSED. Sometimes I have to stop and just say “wow! I am so lucky”. I get to live in the most beautiful place, I have an amazing support system and the hectic just makes things more exciting.

I’m currently working on…

planning for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery convention in NYC this spring. We are going as an office and I can’t wait to go learn and expand my practice.

Always…

wear sunscreen. Lol, but seriously.

Never…

go tanning in a tanning bed. See above. SKIN CANCER PEOPLE.

Biggest Dream…

have more children, continue to work at Marc Malek Plastic Surgery and grow my career as an aesthetic nurse, travel the world, and spend as much time with family possible.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

chewing. You guys, it is a very serious pet peeve.
