Anchored Therapy is a private therapy practice in the East Valley that supports individuals and couples navigating life’s complex, often unpredictable seasons.
White works especially with professionals, entrepreneurs, women who carry significant responsibility, and couples who want to strengthen their relationship or reconnect during challenging seasons.
“My approach is relational and nervous-system informed, helping clients slow down, deepen self-awareness, and move toward healthier patterns in their relationships and lives,” White said. “At its core, Anchored Therapy is about providing a steady presence, helping people find grounding and clarity even when life feels uncertain.”
AZF: What is your “life motto”?
Live bravely and stay anchored in what matters most.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?
I don’t know that I always labeled it as entrepreneurship, but looking back, I can see that it’s always been part of who I am. Even as a kid, I was starting little projects and businesses – from making friendship bracelets to later creating small brands and creative ventures.
Over time, I realized I’m someone who thrives when I have the freedom to build, create, and explore new ideas. Launching my private practice felt like a natural next step in that journey.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
Support for me comes through community and relationships. I’m grateful for friends, colleagues, and especially my husband, who is both an encourager and a visionary himself. Having people around me who remind me of my purpose and help me stay grounded makes a tremendous difference in navigating both the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
When challenges arise, I return to the purpose behind the work. For me, staying connected to my “why” is essential. I’m motivated by the opportunity to create spaces where people feel supported and understood, whether through therapy, leadership, or community. I’ve also learned that entrepreneurship requires learning to tolerate uncertainty and continue moving forward even when the outcome isn’t fully clear.

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
My perfect Saturday morning starts slowly – coffee in hand, ideally with time outside or near the water. I love beginning the day with movement or a walk, followed by unhurried time with family or friends. Those quiet, simple moments help me recharge and stay connected to what matters most.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
Expect discomfort. Starting anything meaningful requires stepping into the unknown. Rather than assuming uncertainty means something is wrong, learn to normalize it and keep moving forward. Staying connected to what anchors you in the process will carry you much farther than chasing perfect outcomes.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
What excites me most about being an entrepreneur is the freedom to create and bring vision to life. I’ve always been someone who enjoys building something meaningful, thinking outside the box, and adapting as new opportunities emerge. The process of developing ideas, creating something from the ground up, and watching it grow is incredibly energizing to me. While entrepreneurship certainly comes with challenges, I find the creativity and sense of purpose it offers deeply rewarding.
