Since 2012, Rachael has been selling residential real estate alongside her business partner, Nicole McCabe, at Posh Properties, where they are multi-million dollar producers.
“It is our mission to provide the best real estate experience possible to every single client and for every single transaction…the Posh way,” Rachael said.
Being a realtor requires the ability to wear many hats: the educator, the advisor, the negotiator, problem solver, marketing/sales specialist, communicator, and unofficial therapist. The team has honed the art of guiding clients with grace, expertise, and unwavering patience through the often unpredictable journey of buying, selling, and investing in residential real estate.
“We’re proud to say that every one of our clients has come to us through referrals – a testament to the trust we’ve earned. At Posh, our business is built on a foundation of integrity, honesty, clear communication, and genuine compassion,” Rachael said.
AZF: What is your “life motto”?
One of my favorite songs is Just One by Blind Pilot – a beautiful reminder that we only get one life, and it’s up to us to live it fully. I strive to be present in each moment, embracing the journey of my ‘just one’ with intention and gratitude. I choose to believe that life is unfolding for me, offering opportunities – even in the hard moments – to grow, rise, and become the best version of myself. Trust yourself, trust God, and trust that you are exactly where you’re meant to be.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
I’m not sure I consciously labeled it as a desire to become an entrepreneur, but from the time I was 12, I knew I wanted to own my own private practice. That vision shaped my educational journey to earning my undergraduate and graduate degrees and fueled my drive to build a successful business. Looking back, I can’t imagine taking a path that didn’t allow for continuous growth and evolution – stagnation has never felt like an option for me.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
I’ve come to learn that vulnerability is a gateway to connection – and the more open I am, the more supported I feel. So often, we’re navigating similar struggles, and when we allow ourselves to be seen, we create space for healing, growth, and shared understanding. Working with therapists and coaches during challenging times has been invaluable to my personal and professional development.
I’m also a firm believer in lifelong learning – whether through courses or staying curious about what others are doing well. Growth thrives in openness. Stay curious, stay humble, and never stop evolving.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
One of my greatest motivators is the little eyes watching me each day. Becoming a parent gave deeper meaning to everything I do – especially the examples I set for my children. I want my daughter to grow up knowing that, as a woman, there are no limits to what she can achieve when she leads with both heart and determination.
My husband and I have been intentional about creating a home where teamwork is at the core – where we all contribute to the rhythm of family life. The balance isn’t always perfect, but our children have witnessed firsthand that hard work and long days can create space for joy, flexibility, and freedom – while honoring respect, boundaries, and shared responsibility.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
I love a slow, cozy morning; sleeping in, snuggles and coffee with my family. Next, I would head to the courts to play tennis with my girls, followed by brunch with bubbles, avocado toast, and bacon!
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
Prioritize self-care – and embrace the magic of early mornings. Waking before the sun has been truly life-changing. That quiet space at the start, spent meditating, journaling with a warm cup of coffee, watching the sunrise, and moving my body, has become my anchor. This ritual brings a sense of calm and clarity that carries me through even the most chaotic moments of life and work.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
At my core, it’s always been about connection and service. From a young age, I felt called to support others on their journey – and that purpose continues to fuel me, both in real estate and in all areas of my life. There’s a powerful drive that comes from knowing your success is a reflection of how you choose to show up each day. I’m deeply grateful for the flexibility this career offers, allowing me to be fully present in every role I cherish: entrepreneur, wife, mom, board member, friend, and colleague.
