Festive Labor Day Décor

Long holiday weekends are always a great time for taking a break from work, enjoying a barbeque and catching up with family and friends. Whether you are hosting or attending a get-together, there are tons of ways to display your patriotism this Labor Day Weekend.

Hang a Banner or Flag

Banners and flags are one of the simplest ways to show pride in your country, and can be displayed so many ways. Hang one on the front door, in the front yard, or on a wall for a patriotic holiday home décor refresh.

Table Setting

Patriotic table settings are one of my favorite ways to show pride in the USA. Buy or make a festive centerpiece, and don’t shy away from some shimmer and glitter accents. Placemats can also be added to the table to pull everything together.

Candles

Aside from making your home smell great, candles are a festive way to add some red, white and blue to your color scheme. Whether you opt for colored candles or even decorative candle holders, there’s so much you can do with just the simple addition of a few.

Food Display

If you’re hosting a party this Labor Day, take your décor a step further and plate your snacks and food in a festive way. You can use patriotic plates, bowls, cups and don’t forget napkins.

Glass Jars

One seriously chic way to sprinkle your home with red, white and blue is to fill glass containers with cute and colorful objects, like potpourri, flower petals, marbles, or anything really. I really love this idea, because you can always change out the contents of the jars with different colors for new seasons and holidays.

What are some of your favorite patriotic holiday home décor ideas? What are you looking forward to trying out this weekend?
