Winners will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Arizona Foothills Magazine, a tell-all guide to the best people and places in the Valley of the Sun, as chosen by its residents.

AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley Winner?
Luxe Salon & Spa: We understand that there are many salons with amazing talent that clients can choose from, so we appreciate that awards programs like yours exist. It allows us to differentiate our business from others and easily highlights us locally with clients with whom we have not yet connected. As a family owned business going up against huge corporate-owned chains (like Beauty Brands and Dry Bar), this has allowed us to demonstrate at a glance that we are a quality organization with upscale products and services to offer. We not only compete, we thrive.
AFM: What’s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s Best Mani & Pedi?
Luxe Salon & Spa :Our hair floor is always well-received so winning an award for another department is very exciting. We have a great team of three techs who are hardworking and very talented. They use the latest products and techniques for both natural and enhanced nails.
AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?
Luxe Salon & Spa: Absolutely and that is why we continue to participate in the program. There have been a lot of changes in our industry so there is a lot more competition. When we opened in the mall there was hardly any beauty industry competition and now we have multiple beauty services within 5 miles, yet and we continue to see growth. We think it is due to the fact that we utilize programs like yours, do quality work and give back to our community as much as possible. Lastly, we participate to let people know that they don’t have to drive to Scottsdale to get knowledgeable, cutting edge services in a quality, beautifully appointed atmosphere.
AFM: How do you put your “best” foot forward every day?
Luxe Salon & Spa: We feel our mission in this regard is two-fold: Support our local community and stay cutting edge with our products and services. Since our founding we have been giving back to our community with participation in various local fundraisers, supporting local schools and charities. Another way we do this is to offer to partner with our professionals to attend continuing education events outside of the salon and to bring in visiting educators whenever possible. We stay on top of trends and new products as well. But lastly, and most importantly, we are committed to providing the best experience possible for our clients from the moment they call to schedule to the moment they step out of our doors.
