Karl Lagerfeld is entering the world of merch and brand name-obsessed skateboarders and streetwear fans with a new collaboration with Vans.
Launching on Sept. 7 just in time for fashion week, the Lagerfeld x Vans capsule collection will feature six interpretations of classic Vans footwear, including: the Sk8-Hi laceless platform; Old Skool laceless styles in leather on white platforms; and an all-black leather Classic Slip-On with the quilted letter K.
And what’s a Lagerfeld-appointed collection without some clothing? WWD reports that the line will also feature a T-shirt with Lagerfeld’s likeness wearing a checkerboard tie; a black-and-white bomber; and a premium leather backpack with the signature letter K.
The collection ranges from $40 to $300 and will be available at Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and select Vans retailers, as well as on both of the brands’ websites.
Though actual product photos are still yet to be released, we’ll share as soon as we get word.
