Biologique Recherche Paris Opens First U.S. Outpost in Los Angeles

French clinical spa and skincare line Biologique Recherche has opened its first-ever U.S. outpost in Los Angeles, delivering the brand’s innovative and ultra-personalized skin treatments and retail products to the West Coast.

The L.A. ambassade brings the same Parisian spirit and elegant ambiance offered in France, as well as the technical facilities that allow for its proprietary skin diagnostics and specialized treatments for the face, body and scalp.

Located at 8461 Melrose Place, the two-story Maison has six treatment rooms, five single-service rooms, a larger VIP suite with a private entrance, a diagnostic room with the brand’s signature Skin Instant Lab, the VisioLab and My Beauty DNA, as well as a hair salon for scalp treatments. The interior architecture was entrusted to Joanne de Lépinay, a French designer who worked on the brand’s original ambassade in Paris.

“We wanted to create a very authentic French experience with an elegant Parisian aesthetic,” says Margot Humbert, general manager of Biologique Recherche USA, in a statement. “We took elements from the original Paris Ambassade to extend the authenticity of the brand and create continuity. All the millwork is custom made and the furniture is directly from Europe.”

With four decades of experience, Biologique Recherche’s successful methodology comprises three personalized stages to achieve the unique skin care needs of each individual.

The Assessment Stage uses the Skin Instant Lab, VisioLab and My Beauty DNA technology to scientifically analyze and diagnose your skin’s exact needs before the Initialization stage. Here, your skin is prepared for your individualized treatment with a thorough cleansing, massage and application of the brand’s iconic Lotion P50. The final Treatment Stage uses customized products and tools to improve the quality and complexion of the epidermis for clearer and more radiant skin.

Ambassade Biologique Recherche Los Angeles is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. To book an appointment or schedule an online consultation, click here.
