Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza has announced that it will open its sixth Arizona location, in Glendale, today, June 22.  To celebrate the grand opening, the West Phoenix restaurant will offer free build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. In addition, Blaze will host a live DJ at the Glendale location from 4:30 to 10 p.m.
The hugely popular Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be returning to Scottsdale on Saturday, June 24 at Scottsdale Quarter fro, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The cafe truck will be serving yummy goodies and treats–like a three-piece Hello Kitty cookie set, a rainbow macaron box set that includes a surprise Sanrio character design, a four-pack of mini cakes and bow-shaped bottles of water and more–to Hello Kitty fans.
Portillo’s has announced the return of an old favorite: the brand’s previously discontinued Lemon Cake. Lemon lovers can thank Ben, a Reddit user who put up a $300 bounty on the popular website’s Chicago page for anyone with information on how to obtain the cake recipe, for the cake’s limited-time return. Originally taken off the menu over a decade ago, the Lemon Cake will be available by the slice and whole cake from June 13 to July 31, while supplies last.
Crudo (pictured) will be celebrating the arrival of summer and treating those who are still in town before they take off for their summer vacation. (Crudo takes their summer break from July 2 to July 13, reopening on July 14.) Running June 20 through July 1, Crudo is offering special pricing for its coursing options; the menus will be $27, $37, or $47 (regularly $40, $50, or $60).  Plus, Crudo will be offering wine specials over both weeks too.
Join Huss Brewing Company and Social Tap Eatery every Wednesday from June 21 to July 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. (trivia night to follow at 8 p.m.), to experience Huss’ Raspberry Wheat beer on tap at Social Tap with suggested food pairings. A Huss Brewing Company rep will be educating patrons about the beer while providing samples for everyone to experience their popular brew.
Flower Child has partnered with the Ironwood Tree Experience, a nonprofit that focuses on nurturing the youth’s appreciation and understanding for Mother Nature’s wonders. Through the end of June, all Arizona Flower Child locations will be donating a portion of their lemonade sales to the organization’s “A River Runs Through Arizona” program, which encourages exploration through a W.I.L.D. (Wonder.Innocence.Laughter.Daringness) childhood. In honor of this partnership, Flower Child has created a special W.I.L.D. Child Lemonade made with a refreshing blend of watermelon and mango.
Thirsty Lion Gastropub and Grill has launched a new summer menu that is now available at all three Thirsty Lion locations. The seasonal menu features a variety of refreshing new dishes including the spicy fried chicken sandwich and green papaya & Thai shrimp salad.
Le Macaron in Scottsdale Quarter is now offering a season-friendly bubblegum macaron (available for $2.75 each).
This summer, Perk Eatery will offer “Local Love” breakfast and lunch specials. Every Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m., guests can enjoy a breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich along with a coffee or tea for $5.99. For lunch, the special includes a half sandwich and soup or salad for just $7.99.
Celebrate National Catfish Day at TEXAZ Grill, where they will be offering all-you-can-eat catfish for only $14.95 all day long on Sunday, June 25.
In honor of 4th of July, Pita Jungle wants customers to show their “in-DIP-endence” by submitting their own hummus flavor ideas on social media. The six-week contest launches July 4 and runs through August 11. One winner will receive one large dip, per month, for a year. Dip includes hummus, tzatziki, garlic dip or baba ganoosh.
