Heritage Square Hosts 10th Annual Wine Festival with New Experiences

The Arizona Wine Festival is returning to Heritage Square for its 10th installment on January 24 and 25, 2026. The curated wine event will feature over 20 Arizona wineries, along with more than 70 local vendors, artisans, and live entertainment.

While most of the event remains the same, two new experiences are opening to attendees this year: several wineries will offer barrel tastings, and guests can compete in teams of two in the grape stomping competition, reminiscent of that well-known “I Love Lucy” episode.

This year, Rod Keeling’s Keeling Schaefer Vineyards is partnering with Mike Spangenberg of State Forty Eight and Mike Pigford of Arizona Wine Events to release a special collaborative wine. Both the State Forty Eight Red and State Forty Eight White will debut at the festival before being released at major retailers soon after.

The red features a “blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Durif grapes, also known as Petite Sirah,” and the white is a “blend of Viognier and Picpoul Blanc,” both of which are Keeling proprietary blends.

“We wanted to create a new premium dry wine brand to be sold in major markets in Arizona at a value price point,” Keeling said. “The concept of an Arizona theme for an Arizona wine is not new, but was attractive personally to my wife and me due to our lifetime of living and working in the state and my family history of farming and ranching here since 1919.”

There will be something for every palette. According to Arizona Wine Events event organizer Mike Pigford, “Quite a few wineries that will be in attendance have won medals in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, including 1764 Vineyards, Copper Horse Vineyard, DA Vines Vineyard, Oak Creek Vineyards, Page Springs Cellars, and Pillsbury Wine.”
