Cannon Beach Makes Waves in Mesa with Addition of New Tenants

Home to Arizona’s first surf park, Mesa lifestyle destination Cannon Beach continues to make waves with more than 20 new tenants to open next year. Cannon Beach, a playground for all ages and interests, includes everything from crave-worthy eats to high-energy wellness and retail experiences.

“Cannon Beach has been in the works for a long time, and it’s incredible to see it finally come to life,” said co-founder and developer Cole Cannon.

This next-level destination is already home to 11 exciting tenants, including Moku Hawaiian Grill, which offers bold Hawaiian comfort food, from savory chicken and steak plates to fresh poke and sweet Dole soft serve.

Fresh Monkee Smoothies offers protein-rich smoothies made with real food ingredients with no added sugar, powders, or artificial syrups; Hooligan’s Coffee House with craft drinks, breakfast tacos, and regular motorcycle meetups fueled by a love of surf and skate culture and High5Nails, a luxury salon offering facials, waxing and red light therapy.

“It’s not just about bringing the beach to the desert, it’s about bringing people together,” Cannon said. “The tenants are the heartbeat, offering something for everyone and setting the tone for what’s to come.”

The 40-acre multi-use development focuses on creating environments that combine water-focused adventures centered around a surf lagoon with entertainment, restaurants, retail, offices, and resort-style hospitality.

Some of the upcoming additions include: 4Ever Young, DZO BBQ, La Taqueria Factory, Schlotzsky’s Deli, Cinnabon, Peach Cobbler Factory, The Yard Milkshake Bar, Buena Papa, Bosa Donuts, Wetzel’s Pretzels, George’s Sports Bar, Creekside Tacos and Nautical Bowls. For more information, visit cannonbeachaz.com.
