Desert Mountain Club, recognized as a top 10 Platinum Club of America and widely regarded as one of the nation’s premier private golf communities, has announced the appointment of PGA of America Master Professional Andy Fisher as its new director of golf. Fisher has more than two decades of experience, most recently serving as head golf professional at the Kansas City Country Club.
His background also includes key leadership roles at The Country Club of Brookline and Dayton Country Club, further solidifying his reputation as a respected expert in golf operations and player development.

His selection followed an extensive national search conducted by PGA ExecuSearch, which attracted more than 700 applicants and included a rigorous interview process with the Club’s Senior Leadership, Board of Directors, and Golf & Agronomy Committee.

Fisher’s mentorship has helped former assistants advance into leadership roles across the country, including positions such as head professional, director of golf, and director of instruction at notable clubs.
