For generations of East Valley families, Jake’s Unlimited has been a go-to destination for birthday parties, family outings and friendly competition. Now, the Mesa entertainment venue is embarking on a new chapter under local ownership, backed by a multimillion-dollar investment aimed at transforming the facility into one of Arizona’s premier entertainment destinations.

Jake’s Unlimited was acquired by Phoenix-area entrepreneurs JP and Brittany Mullan, who are investing more than $2 million into upgrades, new attractions and facility improvements designed to elevate the nearly 87,000-square-foot venue. The acquisition represents an opportunity to build on a longtime attraction while creating new experiences for families.

“We see the potential to transform Jake’s Unlimited into a best-in-class entertainment destination that competes on a national level while maintaining the local, community-driven spirit that makes it special,” JP Mullan said.
A fourth-generation Phoenician, JP brings more than 20 years of experience in the family entertainment industry. His career includes leadership roles with several well-known Valley attractions, including CrackerJax, F1 Race Factory, Octane Raceway and Mavrix, giving him extensive experience in operations, guest experience development and attraction management.

Jake’s Unlimited offers a wide range of activities under one roof. Guests can enjoy amusement rides such as bumper cars, teacups, a carousel, Frog Hopper and The Radius, an indoor tornado-style ride experience. The venue also features HyperBowling, an interactive twist on traditional bowling, along with laser tag, virtual reality attractions, arcade games and billiards.
Guests can expect new arcade games, enhanced prize offerings featuring licensed merchandise and electronics, updated food and beverage recipes and facility-wide improvements focused on comfort, cleanliness and aesthetics. Additional staff training and service enhancements are also planned as part of the overall investment strategy. One of the most anticipated additions is a new mini kart attraction, with plans for a larger premium karting experience slated to arrive during future phases of development.

Inspired in part by their three daughters, the Mullans saw an opportunity to invest in a business centered around creating memorable experiences that families can enjoy together. Their long-term goal is to position Jake’s as a neighborhood gathering place and a regional destination capable of attracting visitors for birthday parties, corporate events, celebrations and family outings.
“As parents, we understand how important these shared experiences are,” Brittany said. “We live here, we’re raising our family here, and we’re committed to building a place where other families can celebrate, connect and create lasting memories.”

To mark the beginning of its new chapter, Jake’s Unlimited is also offering a special summer promotion on its Unlimited Passes. Available through July 31, the discounted passes include unlimited rides, laser tag, arcade games and access to the venue’s buffet, providing families an opportunity to experience everything the entertainment center has to offer.
