Best New Fitness Studios To Try in the Valley this Spring

We would say ‘bikini season is almost here’ but it’s basically bikini season year round in Phoenix, which is all the more reason to keep things right and tight. If you’ve been in a bit of a workout rut or just want to switch things up, check out these new-to-the-Valley fitness options coming this Spring 2018.

TruFusion Scottsdale 

JLo is a big fan and she’s got a rockin’ bod so we’re on board too. Located in the Thunderbird North Shopping Center, TruFusion gives members access to unlimited classes under one roof including yoga, cycle, Pilates, kettlebell, barre, bootcamp, boxing and more.  The ultra luxe facility offers up to 35 classes a day in up to 65 different class styles, all taught by certified instructors.  Some of its unique signature classes include Tru Bootcamp fusing Pilates, kettlebell and yoga; Tru Hot Barre mixing yoga, Pilates, cardio and ballet; Tru TRX utilizing suspension training and one of its most popular, the “R-rated” Down ‘N’ Dirty Bootcamp, an adult version of Tru Barefoot Bootcamp with some fun bump-and-grind. Club Pilates Arcadia

A club that comes complete with sculpted muscles? Sign us up! Located on Indian School Rd. just past 40th St. in Phoenix, Club Pilates Arcadia will open its doors March 14-18 with free intro classes. The new boutique studio offers a total body workout that helps with posture, balance, flexibility and strength. Members can choose from dozens of group classes that utilize a variety of equipment, including reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, springboard and Barre. TriCore Fitness Studio

Developed by longtime fitness pro and studio owner Stefannie Delamora, TriCore is a 3,360 square-foot space in Phoenix serving as the official training grounds for the TriCore program. The revolutionary regimen combines cardio, weights, pilates and more, designed to enhance endurance, strength and mobility all in a fun, motivational group environment. The high-impact workout spans one hour, starting with 30 minutes of strength and conditioning designed to build muscle, burn fat and boost endurance. BURN Total Body Conditioning

Feel the burn at this locally based Pilates studio, powered by the Lagree Fitness Method, which is taking up residency at The Colony for its second Valley location. The patented, all-encompassing method uses a Megaformer — a state-of-the-art, spring-based resistance machine — to channel an abs-burning, thigh-and-buns-shaking, total-body-conditioning workout that strengthens, lengthens and sculpts the entire body. The method offers a blend of cardio, flexibility, core, balance and strength and typically burns between 500 and 800 calories per session. Newly Renovated: Gainey Village Health Club & Spa

Old Favorite: BODI

Technically the award winning gym isn’t brand new to the Valley fitness scene however BODI did recently move to a new bigger, better studio in old town Scottsdale. Owned by Nike Master Trainer and Women’s Health Next Fitness Star Nikki Metzger, BODI is a unique high intensity group fitness gym with a focus on functional training.
