On Wednesday October 19, the annual Assistance in Healthcare fundraiser, Project Pink, entertained and inspired a sold out crowd of more than four hundred guests at The Wigwam Resort & Spa. Sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Western Regional Medical Center, Project Pink raises monies to provide grants for Valley residents who are undergoing cancer treatment.
The luncheon event was emceed by Carey Pena and featured a vintage fashion show with looks from Fashion by Robert Black on Ford RBA models, live entertainment from recording musical artist Britahn Newbill, a live auction, and impassioned speeches from some of those most deeply affected by cancer.
