Overextended, overstressed, overworked…sound familiar? If you feel like you’re living in overdrive: taking care of a family, working 40+ hours per week and just trying to be a superwoman in general then you need to be at Mountain Vista Medical Center (1301 S. Crismon Rd., Mesa, AZ 85209) Saturday, May 19, from 8 a.m. to noon for the fourth-annual Women’s Health & Wellness Expo.

The Expo, which is FREE and open to the public, will allow busy ladies to indulge in some much-deserved pampering, free health screenings and a little “me time”. Attendees can enjoy complimentary brunch items with mocktails while they take part in beauty, health and wellness treatments including express facials, massages, mini makeovers with beauty tips, Dillard’s shopping specials, beauty seminar and much more!

The day will offer a true 360-degree view of women’s health, covering wellness topics that most impact females of all ages. During the event, women will have the chance to undergo health screenings and learn easy-to-implement tips to improve their health and wellness. Planned health screenings, seminars and assessments will include glucose and total cholesterol screenings, gait assessments, heart disease and stroke risk assessments and blood pressure screenings.

Kristine Lilly – a U.S Women’s Soccer World Cup champion, Olympic gold medalist and mom of two – will serve as a keynote speaker during this special event. Her talk, “My Mental and Physical Health Routine to Stay Healthy on and off the Field” will offer tips on how to stay well while balancing a full plate of priorities. Lilly was recently named a Community Wellness Ambassador for Steward Health Care, the parent company of Mountain Vista Medical Center.
