Do you and your furry friend need a little TLC in the beauty department? Well, cancel your Sunday plans; Beauty to the RESCUE is here! On March 6, pets and their owners can enjoy a day of pampering with posh treatments from Mane Attraction Salon as they help raise money for RESCUE, a local nonprofit that fights against pet euthanasia.
Anyone can support RESCUE (Reducing Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education) with these affordable offerings at Mane Attraction Salon on March 6:
- $35-$50 for haircuts
- $10 for Deep Conditioning Masque
- $20 for Blow Dry Style
- $20 for Makeup Applications
Your pup won’t miss you while you beautify because a mobile dog groomer, Couture Clips, will be rolling in for the occasion!
You can also find out a little more about your four-legged, best friend as Joseph Bortniak the pet psychic and animal communicator will be doing readings from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a $20 donation!
Guests will also enjoy food and beverages, along with kid-friendly activities and live entertainment by Elvis before Noon and DelRays (Sistah Blue).
“We have a special place in our hearts for the pets RESCUE helps,” says Beate Ong, who owns and operates Mane Attraction with husband and fellow stylist Kendal Ong. They adopted their one-year-old pooch, Einstein, from RESCUE. “Healthy animals are being euthanized because they are not adopted and placed in loving homes. The real beneficiaries of this event will be the huggable animals that are adopted at this outstanding and important event.”
