Exotic car-lovers everywhere are invited to peruse such unique automobiles as a 1959 Morris Minor and 1954 Land Rover fire truck at the Orange County Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa.
“The unique thing about Barret Jackson is that it is more than just a car event, it is a lifestyle event,” says Gary Sherwin, president and CEO of Visit Newport Beach Inc. “Its absolutely fascinating, even if you don’t have the means to buy a classic car.”
Also be sure to check out the array of authentic old school automotive collectibles. From dealership signs, hood mascots, and transportation toys, to gas pumps, racing posters, and garage relics, the auction has something for everyone.
If you can make it out even earlier, here are some fun events not to miss:
- Sunday, June 17: 3rd Annual Cruise-In at Connel Chevrolet
- Wednesday, June 20: OC Tourism Golf Classic at Tustin Ranch Golf Club
- Thursday, June 21: Preview Day (*for credentialed guests only); The Opening Night Gala (*$75 per invitation); and Fashion Presentation by Saks Fifth Avenue and Porsche Design
Make it a fun weekend trip and make the drive taking either the I-10 or the I-8 from the Valley.
