There’s something special about a morning on the golf course, especially when it’s fueled by purpose. On September 11, 2026, the 3rd Annual “Fore the Build” Golf Tournament returns to Camelback Golf Club, bringing together community leaders, supporters, and friends for a day of good swings and good causes.

Presented by Mill Creek Residential, this popular event has quickly become Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona’s premier golf fundraiser, and for good reason. It’s a chance to connect, compete, and contribute – raising critical funds that directly support affordable housing initiatives across Maricopa County. From homeownership opportunities to neighborhood revitalization, aging-in-place services, and veteran-focused programs, every dollar raised helps build a stronger foundation for families.

The day begins bright and early with registration, breakfast and a 50/50 raffle at 6 a.m., followed by a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. After a morning on the course, participants can wind down with lunch and awards at noon, celebrating not only the winners but also the collective impact.
Held on a day of national remembrance, “Fore the Build” carries added meaning. It offers a unique opportunity to honor veterans in a tangible way, supporting housing stability and essential repairs for those who have served, as well as for seniors, single parents and families working toward a better future.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Mill Creek Residential, our premier sponsor, for standing alongside us in our mission,” said Todd Rogers, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona. “Coming together on September 11, both in remembrance and in service, our community and partners like Mill Creek Residential show what’s possible when we unite for those in need. By swinging a club, every player and sponsor helps swing open the doors to safe, affordable homes for Arizona veterans and families in need.”

“Fore the Build” is a reminder that even a single day spent outdoors, among friends and colleagues, can have a lasting impact. It’s golf, yes, but it’s also generosity in motion, community in action, and hope, one swing at a time. For more, visit habitatcaz.org.
