This Valentine’s Day weekend, Scottsdale invites visitors to experience an unforgettable celebration of grace, power, and elegance: the Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT). From Friday, February 13, through Sunday, February 15, WestWorld’s Big Tent will host three full days of competition, showcasing over 200 Arabian horses as they vie for top honors in one of the world’s most striking equestrian events.
Qualifying classes take place Friday and Saturday, leading to Sunday’s Championships and closing ceremonies. The event pairs the athleticism and beauty with a sophisticated atmosphere.

“There’s something inherently romantic about Arabian horses, and seeing them perform under the lights is unforgettable,” GCAT Event Director Taryl O’Shea said. “The setting is glamorous, the horses are breathtaking, and the competition is top-notch, so if you’re looking for something different to do, come see us at WestWorld. Best of all, general admission is free, making it accessible to all.”

GCAT Americas Scottsdale is known not only for its beauty but also for its competitiveness, boasting one of the largest prize purses in the sport at $384,000. The event attracts elite riders from across the U.S. and around the world, raising the stakes and delivering thrilling performances in every class.
Visitors can also enjoy the event village, featuring concessions, boutique shopping, and brand activations, with VIP tables available for small groups seeking an elevated experience.

Scottsdale is one of 13 stops on the global tour and plays a key role in determining who will move on to the Supreme Championship in Paris this November. Expanded arena and paddock space this year provide extra room for horses and handlers while enhancing the spectator experience. For more: GCArabiansTour.com.
