A unique fusion of sport, wellness, and hospitality is coming to Arizona this year, as Padeland prepares to open its doors in Chandler, marking the state’s first indoor padel club. Slated to open in late 2025, Padeland will transform the former LOOK Dine-In Cinemas into a 35,000+ square-foot destination where padel, pickleball, craft beer, coworking, and recovery come together under one roof.
This innovative venue is designed as a hub for recreation, social connection, and personal wellness. Padeland will feature four indoor padel courts and five pickleball courts, a full-service brewery and taproom, a restaurant, coffee shop, coworking space, and wellness amenities. With cold plunge therapy, sauna access, and recovery tools available, the space aims to cater to both the competitive athlete and the curious.
At the heart of Padeland’s concept is padel — the fastest-growing sport in the world, though still relatively under the radar in the U.S. Originating in Mexico in the 1960s, padel is a high-energy racquet sport combining elements of tennis and squash.
Typically played in doubles on smaller, glass-walled courts, the sport is known for its long rallies, strategic play, and easy-to-learn format. With this explosive international growth in mind, Padeland’s founders are aiming to put Arizona on the map:

In the evenings, the atmosphere shifts toward connection, with guests gathering for matches, meals, and drinks brewed in-house. The addition of a five-story covered parking garage ensures convenient access in the bustling downtown district.
