Early Father’s Day gift alert! Morton’s The Steakhouse in Phoenix is offering a unique beer tasting experience as part of its Prime Events Series, featuring the exotic flavors of Dogfish Head Craft Brewer from 6 to 7:30 pm on Friday, June 4. Morton’s guests will sample four different Dogfish Head beers, paired with selected cheeses and accompanied by Morton’s petite filet mignon sandwiches, tuna tartare canapés, smoked salmon wedges and lamb chops with brie. The ticket price of $45 per person includes tax and gratuity and Morton’s will donate $5 from every ticket to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A Beer Specialist will be on hand to give a short presentation on each beer being a sampled.
The Dogfish Head selections to be featured at Morton’s “Hoppy Hour” will include:
– Midas Touch – a Turkish recipe for the oldest known fermented beverage in the world.
– Raison – As complex as a fine red wine, this Belgian style Ale is brewed with beet sugars and raisins and would pair best with a Morton’s steak.
– 90 Minute –Dubbed the “Best IPA in America” by Esquire Magazine.
– Palo – The caramel and vanilla notes in this aged brown ale are derived from handcrafted wooden brewing vessels made of Paraguayan Palo Santo or “Holy Tree” wood.
