One thing Arizonans look forward to each and every summer is the start of monsoon season–cool lightening shows in the sky and cool-you-down breezes and rain. To celebrate the monsoon season (which officially started on June 15), Scottsdale’s Wildfish Seafood Grille is offering a tasty Monsoon Mai Tai. The specialty cocktail will be available through Sept. 30, when monsoon season ends, for $8. If you’d like to try out the Monsoon Mai Tai at home, instructions are below.
Monsoon Mai Tai
1 oz. light rum
½ oz. Crème de Noya
½ oz. of Orgeat Syrup
½ oz. Myer’s dark rum
Splash of Pineapple Juice
Splash of Orange Juice
1 pineapple wedge
Pour light rum, crème de noya, orgeat syrup into a tall glass with ice. Fill glass with equal parts of pineapple juice and orange juice. Float with dark rum on the top and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
