Wine Tasting: Paso Robles Wine Country Experience Comes to Scottsdale

The Paso Robles Wine Country experience is coming to Scottsdale on Thursday, October 27, featuring world-class wines from California’s Central Coast and a tourism showcase of businesses and products from Paso Robles, Calif.

Hosted by The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and Travel Paso, the special wine tasting event allows fans and lovers of great wine in the Scottsdale area to experience what Paso Robles Wine Country has to offer right in their own neighborhood.

The public will enjoy an early evening tasting event at The McCormick Scottsdale Resort from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., where they will sip and sample over 100 Paso Robles wines from 23 different winery producers.

In addition to the delicious wines and accompanying light appetizers, the evening will feature a destination showcase highlighting hospitality partners in the Paso Robles area including, FARMsteadEd and SLO Distillers, as well as Paso-based goods, like olive oil, honey, spirits and more.

Located in San Luis Obispo county on the Central Coast of California, Paso Robles is home to more than 200 wineries and grows a diverse range of wine grapes. With a history dating back to the turn of the century, Paso’s wine country is known for Cabernet Sauvignon, Rhône-Style blends, Zinfandel and refreshing white wines.

Now, direct flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to San Luis Obispo County Airport make sharing the Paso Robles wine country experience with Arizonans even easier.

“The Paso Robles wine region is so excited to bring our wines and winemakers to Scottsdale,” says Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Executive Director Joel Peterson. “The Phoenix and Scottsdale area has long loved the wines from Paso Robles and the direct flights make it easier for us to connect.”

Tickets to attend the Scottsdale evening tasting event are $65 per person. Click here to purchase tickets and learn more about the Paso Robles Tasting Tour in Scottsdale.
