As a small token of gratitude, these Valley restaurants are offering freebies and discounts to veterans and active military this Veteran’s Day (Nov. 12).
On Sunday, Nov. 11, Roaring Fork and Salty Sow (pictured) in Scottsdale salute local veterans with a special discount. With proper military identification, retired and active military can enjoy 15 percent off their entire meal; dine in only, beginning at 4 p.m. (alcohol, tax and tip are not included).
From Nov. 10 through Nov. 12, any current or past military member will be able to enjoy free access to the all-you-can-eat buffet until 8 p.m., free unlimited rides and free unlimited laser tag at Jake’s Unlimited. In honor of Veteran’s Day, the family entertainment center will have extended hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12. Cheat code to redeem the deal is “VETERAN.”
On Nov. 12, 20 percent of all of Brat Haus’ proceeds go to Honor Flight Arizona, a local nonprofit supporting WWII and Korean War veterans. Additionally, on this day, all WWII and Korean War veterans eat for free (dine-in only).
Dorian in Old Town Scottsdale is offering 50 percent off the bar menu and $1 bottles of beer to all veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Nov. 12, in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Arcadia Tavern is offering 30 percent off to all veterans on Monday, Nov. 12, for Veteran’s Day.
Spinato’s Pizzeria will offer free entrees up to $15 to any veteran with a valid military ID on Veteran’s Day.
The Vig restaurants will be honoring Valley veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11, with a special dining deal all day long. Veterans can enjoy 15 percent off their entire bill beginning at 10 a.m.
Original Breakfast House will observe Veteran’s Day on Monday, Nov. 12, with live music from In Flight Blues, a free meal for veterans with military ID (there are set menu items that will be free or they can receive up to $12 off any other meal), free doughnuts and coffee for all guests, and a presentation of colors at 6:30 a.m. by the The United States Air Force Honor Guard.
Cider Corps has two offers for veterans and active military in honor of Veteran’s Day: free coffee for vets on the day of the East Valley Veteran’s Parade (Nov. 12) and $1 off a pint year-round. Cider Corps will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Veteran’s Day proper (Sunday, Nov. 11).
On “Military Monday,” Nov. 12, Twin Peaks will be offering all active and retired military members a free entrée. These guests can choose from a special menu at one of the three Valley locations.
On Sunday, Nov. 11, Uptown Alley will offer all active, reserve and retired military a free game of bowling with shoes plus 15 percent off food.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is honoring veterans with 15 percent off their bill. This offer is valid on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12.
In support of veterans both active and retired, Fired Pie will be offering a free entrée to all vets who show their ID or are in uniform on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Current and former members of the military will receive a free 10-in., one-topping black iron pizza and a soda, a $14 value, at The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen on Veteran’s Day on Nov. 12. Limit one per qualifying guest (must show military ID, dine-in only).
Veterans and active military will receive 50 percent off on Sunday, Nov. 11, at any five of Riot Hospitality Group’s concepts: Farm & Craft, Hand Cut Burgers & Chophouse, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, El Hefe and Riot House.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill will offer a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti entrée this Veteran’s Day at all U.S. locations. All veterans and active military can enjoy this complimentary meal simply by presenting military ID or proof of service.
Fogo de Chão is offering all veterans and active duty personnel 50 percent off their entire meal on Veteran’s Day weekend (Friday, Nov. 9, to Sunday, Nov. 11); up to three guests (for each military veteran or personnel) will also receive 10 percent off their meal.
LemonShark Poké Scottsdale will salute its military guests on Nov. 11 with a 25 percent off discount to their bill in store. Active and retired members of the armed forces must show their ID to get the deal.
Ginger Monkey, the neighborhood tavern in Chandler, is thanking veterans and active duty military with a free entree (up to $12) on Sunday, Nov. 11. In addition, Ginger Monkey is offering a 20 percent discount for veterans and active duty military from Nov. 12 to Nov. 18.
All active duty and retired military veterans receive a complimentary All-American Burger & Chips at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers. Proof of ID required; available until 5 p.m. at Arizona locations only.
