We love a break from the norm, and Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn is offering just that (a break from the dining norm) with its new family-friendly Sunday barbecue series. Instead of your usual dinner at Mom and Dad’s house on Sunday evening, the Paradise Valley resort restaurant has announced its new Sunday Chuckwagon BBQ. On Sundays through April, from 5 to 10 p.m., guests are invited to the patio at Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn for delicious meats prepared over Chef Jeremy Pacheco’s cowboy cauldron, along with tempting sides and desserts (as well as a few specialty eats). Pioneer Pepper will also perform during Lon’s Sunday Chuckwagon BBQs. The Sunday Chuckwagon BBQ is $49 per person.
Select one starter:
Tortilla soup, Hermosa Arizona greens or fritura mixto
Select a barbecue entree from the cauldron:
Berkshire suckling pig or smoked Jidori chicken
Select two sides:
BBQ beans, grilled Mexican street corn, herb-roasted red potatoes, napa cabbage slaw
Select a dessert:
Apple pie with vanilla ice cream or Lon’s cowboy candy bar with coco nib ice cream
Draft Beer Flight, $9
2 oz. pour of each
Four Peaks: Pumpkin Porter
Phoenix Brewery: Fretzy’s English Pale Ale
Santan: Epicenter
A La Carte Pecan Wood-Fired Specialties:
Chili Rubbed CowboyRib eye, 24 oz., $55
Mishima Ranch Kobe Striploin, 6 oz., $69
New York Strip Dry Age Prime, 10 oz., $58
Herb Crusted Colorado Lamb Rack, 16 oz., $68
And don’t leave the little ones at home; a children’s menu available upon request. To reserve your spot at Lon’s Sunday Chuckwagon BBQ call 602.955.7878 or visit http://www.hermosainn.com/lons/.
