Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hosts a Kentucky Derby brunch and lawn party, 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 3. On Monday, May 5, Smedstad will be a guest chef at Cowboy Ciao for a Sommelier Showdown and Chef Challenge. Pouring wines will be winemaker, Eric Glomski, of Page Springs Cellars. On Tuesday, May 6, from 6 to 9 p.m., guests will be treated to the rare opportunity of a barrel tasting. Eric Glomski, of Page Springs Cellars, is bringing down a barrel from his vineyard to Kazimierz World Wine Bar. For a $10 cover, guests will be able to taste and enjoy a meet-and-greet with Glomski.
