Bluewater Grill hosts the “Tuna Takeover” Tasting and Sake/Wine Pairing on Tuesday, August 9.  Enjoy tuna prepared five ways: seared ahi; seared and smoked albacore; calico poke, including both ahi and albacore; and spicy tuna roll sushi. The all-inclusive price includes a choice of tastings of Hakutsuru draft sake and Sapporo draft beer or Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. $24.95 per person.
In honor of the National Park Centennial, L’Auberge de Sedona is offering a Grand Canyon Tasting Menu that will take place at Cress on Oak Creek, the resort’s recently launched fine-dining institution. Taking place on both August 11 and 18, the tasting will offer guests the chance to sit at the communal chef’s table, meet other guests, celebrate the Grand Canyon and delight in Chef Rochelle Daniel’s cuisine. Each of the six courses will be paired with Arizona wine or craft beer; $240 per person.
Now through Sept. 1, when the temperature reaches over 105 degrees, the Burger Theory iced tea and house margarita will be half price.

The Beer Dinner series continues at Salty Sow with another event on Thursday, August 11 featuring beers from San Tan Brewery starting at 6:30 p.m. The dinner features four courses and is $39 per person.
In honor of National Oyster Day, Little Cleo’s Seafood Legend (pictured) will be serving $1 oysters all day on Friday, August 5. Stop by anytime between 4 to 11 p.m. to celebrate. Starting that same day, Little Cleo’s will begin extending its happy hour for one more hour. Now from 4 to 6 p.m., Happy Hour for the Absinthe-Minded features $1 oysters, $1 shrimp, $2 champagne pours, and half off all absinthe and absinthe cocktails.
Market Street Kitchen is expanding its summer cocktail series to include a new Tiki Thursdays food and drink special. Starting today and taking place every week after from 5 p.m. to close, Market Street Kitchen’s new weekly Tiki Thursdays will feature a “Treasure Island”-themed cocktail menu overflowing with Tiki twists on MSK’s craft cocktails. Plus, dive into a shareable “Pu-Pu” food menu featuring modern twists on classic island fare, and grab your Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt or coconut bra and receive $7 happy hour pricing on Tiki cocktails all night long. (Guests must be dressed in “cabana gear” to receive happy hour pricing on Tiki cocktails.)
Take part in National Frozen Custard Day all day on August 8 with a $1 single scoop of Culver’s vanilla, chocolate, or flavor of the day fresh frozen custard in a cake cone or dish.
Celebrate National S’Mores Day on August 10 at Eklectic Pie. Enjoy $.99 S’mores dessert pizza from 11 a.m. until close with purchase (limit one per person).
Celebrate Buck &Rider’s first National Oyster Day on Friday, August 5, with an all-day oyster happy hour from 11 a.m. to close in Abby’s Oyster Bar, the dining room and patio. Enjoy half off the daily selection of raw oysters flown in from the East and West coasts daily and served with your choice of cocktail sauce, mignonette, cognac mustard sauce, Thai dipping sauce or horseradish.
Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill in the Biltmore area is celebrating the 2016 Rio Olympics Summer Games Aug. 5-21 by opening at 9 a.m. for some of the major events. All the events will be shown on 32 HD TVs throughout the bar, and the restaurant will also dish up festive Brazilian specialty food and drinks, like Caipirinha and Rabanada, a Brazilian-style French toast dipped in a coconut milk custard, topped with melted butter, powdered sugar and coconut, served with bacon.
Join in for a wine tasting and barbecue in southeast Arizona at the LDV Winery in the Chiricahua Mountain Foothills on August 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. $20 per person
