Coup Des Tartes has opened its event space: The Rendezvous Room. Complementing the property’s luxurious style, this is the perfect room for a wedding reception, private dinner, corporate event or special occasion.  The Rendezvous Room is the perfect complement to a wedding ceremony in the garden. The Room can accommodate about 85 people seated, or 175 people for standing events.
SOL Cocina and Nekter Juice Bar have teamed up for Nekter on the Rocks, a collection of three low-calorie, premium cold-pressed mixers that transform ordinary spirits into vibrant, flavorful cocktails. SOL is featuring SOL Sunset, created by Sol’s Beverage Director, Colin Pflugradt, using the Arizona Sunset flavor from the Nekter on The Rocks line. Available at SOL through mid-August.
Southern Rail and its neighbors at The Newton are set to host an Educators’ Appreciation Celebration on Friday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. Educators will enjoy a 20 percent discount at Changing Hands Bookstore, First Draft Book Bar, Southwest Gardener and Southern Rail. The evening will also feature prizes, tarot readings, refreshments, chair massages and more. Specialist will be available to discuss new children’s book highlights and Arizona’s Common Core Standards.
Padre Murphy’s has undergone a renovation to their bar with the addition of a 56-handle craft beer installation, and the unveiling of a new happy hour. Held Monday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m., along with a reverse
happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 10 p.m. to close, Padre Murphy’s happy hour now features plenty of eats for $5 and under as well as $2.75 domestic drafts, $3.50 well drinks, and $1 off craft drafts, specialty cocktails and wine by the glass.
Indulge at Salut Kitchen Bar on National S’mores Day (August 10) and get creative with their make-your-own-s’mores set (pictured). After 8 p.m., you can get s’mores and a bottle of wine for only $20.
This August, District American Kitchen and Wine Bar will reward locals. They will enjoy an extended happy hour by showing a valid Arizona identification throughout the entire month. From 3 p.m. to close each night, the restaurant will offer its 3rd Street Eats menu and happy hour prices.
ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho will feature Napa Valley’s Luna Vineyards at Monday Night Chef’s Table on August 10. The four-course dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and $64 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
