And teachers dining at Grassroots Kitchen & Tap will receive a free slice of from-scratch, house-made apple pie (limit one per table, with purchase) through May 8.
May is National Burger Month, and Zinburger is asking burger lovers to share their “ZinFull” moments in Instagram. (What is a ZinFull moment, you ask? Well, it could be a juicy burger dripping down your chin, an untouched perfectly sculpted Zinburger sitting on a plate or a moment of laughter with friends.” Post your ZinFull moments at your favorite Zinburger on Instagram, tag @EatZinburger and use the hashtag #ZINstagram because at the end of National Burger Month (May), Zinburger will randomly choose a winner for a $100 Zinburger Gift Card.
Starting this week, Pita Jungle is offering special menu as part of a May “Celebration of Women.” The restaurants will be celebrating women in-store and on social media – as an extension of Mother’s Day – to celebrate all the important women in their guests’ lives (and the women of Pita Jungle). Menu specials include a salmon burger and chocolate-dipped walnut baklava.
Through May 12, in honor of National Limerick Day, Tilted Kilt is taking Facebook submissions of your best original limerick. One winner will be pulled on National Limerick Day (May 12) and receive a $500 gift card and a chance for their limerick to be placed inside a future Tilted Kilt. You must be 21 years or older to enter.
Gilbert coffee shop HG Roastery is celebrating its two-year anniversary with $2 cold brew drinks. On May 12, HG will have its regular cold brew toddy and a special Mint Mocha toddy available for $2 both in the cafe and at the curb.
