To give a big, tasty thanks to veterans and members of the U.S. military, Scottsdale’s Sassi restaurant is offering them a complimentary dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day).
Sassi will provide a three-course dinner comprised of any three offerings from its menu such as a spuntini of wood-grilled shrimp with prosciutto, an antipasti of Roman-style meatballs and an entrée of manicotti with four Italian cheeses or organic chicken breast with chicken sausage, in addition to non-alcoholic drinks. All U.S. veterans and active duty military with proof of current or former military service will eat free. Family members and friends are invited to attend, however only the person who served will receive a free dinner. The Sassi Bar, though, has 50-percent off its antipasti and spuntini menus from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday including wood-grilled shrimp with prosciutto, pizza margarita, and Roman-style meatballs in white wine. Italian wines by the glass are $7 in the bar. 10455 E. Pinnacle Peak Parkway, Scottsdale. 480.502.9095, www.sassi.biz.
