Phoenicians Getting Food Launches New Season

Have you ever wondered where prominent Arizona residents dine in the Valley?

Co-Media, a Phoenix-based media company that’s focused on storytelling, is providing Arizona residents with an inside look into the lives of some prominent Phoenix residents.

“Phoenicians Getting Food,” a Co-Media production, highlights not just prominent Arizona figures, but also local restaurants by interviewing resident guests at some of the best restaurants across the Valley. From business owners to artists, musicians and more, the show’s guests come from various backgrounds and professions, all with fascinating stories to share.

“We want to provide an entertaining and informative viewing experience that spotlights some of the best individuals in our community, as well as the local restaurants and culinary talent in greater Phoenix,” says Lad Makinde, co-founder of Co-Media and one of the show’s executive producers.

The first episode of the second season of “Phoenicians Getting Food” launches Friday, May 26. Hosted by Diana Brandt of AZ Foodie, the first episode will feature Happy Baos restaurant in Mesa.

The first season of “Phoenicians Getting Food” profiled four different guests and restaurants across four episodes. The guests were: Jonathan Cottrell, Former Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, Allison Devane and Brian Hill. Each guest met with the show’s host, Lady La, at a local restaurant in Phoenix, including Welcome Chicken and Donuts, Windsor + Churn, Pho 43 and Hanny’s. Every episode follows a similar structure, where the host asks guests questions while dining on delicious local fare.
